On Saturday, February 25th, 2023, we were thrilled to host our sixth Coldest
Night of the Year, where we raised $52,079❗️ We recruited 27 volunteers and 34
teams, with over 191 walkers. ❄️

Thankful for our volunteers, rest stops along the 2k & 5k routes, and sponsors

Thermometer Thursday Update🌡 We have collectively raised $52,079❗️

We are at 104% of our $50,000 goal. We recruited 27 volunteers and 34 teams and

She took the plunge for Coldest Night of the Year!

On Feb 21st, when we were at 45% of our goal Assistant to the Executive Director
Jennifer Kaplinski posted that she would complete a cold plunge in Lake Simcoe
should we meet our $80,000 target by Feb 25th.

Nicole Barkley, Director of Service and the Team Leader of Coldest Night of the
Year, messaged her on Feb 24th, “Looks like you are jumping in the lake!”

On March 5th, Jennifer was joined by Ian Miller and his professional cold
plunging team to take the plunge safely and responsibly.

We are grateful to the nearly 300 participants and 59 teams that helped raise
more than $101,000 for Youth Haven’s Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) walk in
Barrie, which took place on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

We had our day made yesterday! Check this out!
The teacher from ODSS’s leadership class came to see us with this huge,
incredibly thoughtful handmade card to thank our team for our help with their
Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser.
Their team raised over $6500 for the Food bank and was the 3rd place team in
Orangeville! Congratulations on your amazing accomplishment! We should be giving
