Journalists often cannot be in the most dangerous spots in Ukraine due to the
imminent risk of death. We are Ukrainians, trying to survive Russia’s worst
attacks. We are sharing real photos and videos that reporters, photojournalists,
and influencers cannot always access in person so that we can bear witness to
the truth.

We are providing this data and video free for reporters around the globe who
want to see what Russia is really doing to us. There are many mothers among us
and witnessing many battles up close, we are sick of seeing our children,
families, and neighbors being murdered before our very eyes.

We want to counter the Russian government’s misinformation about what we are
living through in this war. Russia’s good people, and concerned people all
around the world, need to see what is really happening on the ground in Ukraine.
You need to see the atrocities being committed by the Russian military here.

regions of Ukraine. The timeline is from the beginning of the war to the present
day. We are constantly updating this database as we receive new videos and
photographs from the war’s hotspots.

ABOUT US

The DATTALION initiative was founded by an international team of volunteers on
February 27. We believe in Ukraine, in democracy, and in the power of
information. We, and especially the mothers behind DATTALION in Ukraine, will
remain anonymous for safety causes.



OUR MISSION

Media is our tool. Information is our weapon. Truth is our only shield.
DATTALION has three goals:

Spread the truth about the atrocities that Russia is committing against
civilians in Ukraine.

Defend Ukraine by showing proof of Russia’s war crimes.

Draw the world’s full attention to end this cruel war against Ukraine.
