They had a long road the pregnancy—but after their second IVF, Dana and Chris
were expecting twins. Then, at 20 weeks, Dana's cervix was shortening and
doctors weren't sure she'd be able to keep the babies in.

Mekka and Mukhtar were beyond excited being pregnant with twin boys. Everything
went smoothly until Mekka began to feel pain and couldn't walk. Nasir and Said
were born 23 weeks and given a 10% chance survival rate.
