Apply Business Specialist III Fully Remote • Morgantown, WV • Records Management Apply Job Type Full-time Description $29.43 - $37.26 Hourly with excellent benefits (medical, dental, vision, matching 401k) Summary: The Business Specialist understands the principles, concepts, and techniques in the field of managing records through all phases of their life cycle Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, conduct record inventories and electronic record evaluations. Utilize workflow processes for records processing, retrieval, and scanning. Track weekly production status and prepare analysis reports. Follow appropriate procedures and manuals governing Records Management activities and responsibilities. Aid records sources in the protection and preservation of federal records which contain important financial, legal, administrative, and programmatic information about organizations, individuals, and groups. Evaluate existing collections of records for suitability of information retrieval and makes recommendations regarding file management to improve the retrievability of information. May conduct assessments and support audits. Skills: Requires excellent computer skills in creating and maintaining documents, spreadsheets, and databases, to include entering, searching, and retrieving information. Some experience with SharePoint, Enterprise Content and Records Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, virtual meeting/collaboration software. Requirements Bachelor of the Arts or Bachelor of Science-Required. Certified Records Manager-Desired (CRM) Desired. Six or more years of relatable experience including, but not limited to: records management, library science, scientific discipline, document and knowledge management, training, and archiving, creation, collection, indexing, digitizing, transportation, and storage of records.
