Synopsis

THE COMPANY WILL USE THE FUNDS FOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, TO DEVELOP MACHINE
LEARNING MODELS, ENHANCE THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) COPYWRITING
EXPERIENCE, AND EXPAND SUPPORT INTO OTHER LANGUAGES.

Mumbai: Simplified, an AI-powered content creation and marketing platform, said
it has raised $8.5 million in a seed funding round led by Craft Ventures with
participation from Khosla Ventures and Wing Venture Capital.

The company will use the funds for product development, to develop machine
learning models, enhance the artificial intelligence (AI) copywriting
experience, and expand support into other languages, it said.

Investors such as Uncorrelated Ventures, 8-Bit Capital, Mads Johnsen (CPO,
Calm), Manik Gupta (corporate vice president, Microsoft) Ankur Nagpal (founder
of Teachable and Vibe Capital) also participated in the round.

Founded in 2020, Simplified lets brands and content creators set up
multi-channel marketing campaigns. It uses AI and machine learning to automate
every aspect of the content creation process. Five months since it was launched,
it now has 150,000 new users.

"We're building a space where teams can come together, unleash their creativity,
and create more content — while spending less time and money. We're dedicated to
making content creation seamless and accessible for teams everywhere," said KD
Deshpande, cofounder and CEO of Simplified.
