NEW RELEASE CANECO BT 2021

Protection against electrical arc (Arc Flash Hazard Analysis)
Caneco BT 2021 integrates the calculation of electrical arc to identify each
electrical equipment and to target the protective equipment likely to fail
during a short-circuit, thus allowing electricians and other qualified persons
to use the correct category of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Those calculations are performed in compliance with applicable standards:

 * NFPA-70E© (2012, 2015, 2018): Electrical Safety Requirements for Employee
   Workplaces
 * IEEE-1584™ (2002, 2018): Guide for Performing Arc Flash Hazard Calculations

Integration of Schneider Electric’s range of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
Caneco BT 2021 integrates Schneider Electric UPS catalog which enables to
calculate and size protective devices in the most extreme cases.

Updated standards for the relevant countries:

 * CEI64-8 2019 (Italy)
 * REBT 2021 (Spain)
 * RGIE-AREI 2020 (Belgium)
 * RTIEBT 2017 (Portugal)

➜ Calculations and sizing 
◗ Caneco BT performs all the calculations (Ik, du, If, ...) in compliance with
the applicable standards and the electrical constraints of your installation.
◗ It also determines the most economical equipment to protect the installation
and the individuals.

➜ Discrimination and backup
◗ Caneco BT provides a diagnosis based on tripping curves, calculation and
manufacturer tables.
◗ It takes into account the currents, as well as the chronometrical and
differential aspects to ensure discrimination that can also be reinforced by
coordination.

➜ Automated diagrams
◗ Caneco BT automatically produces the diagrams of the electrical installation
based on 3 dynamic data entry interfaces: network single-line diagram, board
single-line diagram and spreadsheet.

➜ Effective data exchange
◗ Caneco BT allows data import/export from an Excel file.
◗ The electrical data recovered from Revit®, is used for the automated
production of the diagrams and the integration of the circuit data into Caneco
BT.
◗ Caneco BT converts the diagrams and the technical documentation of the project
into a dxf file (an AutoCAD® file).
