For what it's worth, LendingTree did help me connect with a good mortgage broker to refinance my home. But the number of spam phone calls and phishing emails I've received ever since has been staggering. Their list of lenders is clearly not properly vetted, because my information was shared with the shadier side of the business. Next time I'm in the market for a loan, I think I'll do my own shopping around.
