     Let me tell you a story:
   
   Yesterday, I hosted a potluck at my company. Various employees signed up to
   bring enough items to feed 45 people. Well, not all… read more of them were
   able to. Various reasons interfered with their schedules and we just didn’t
   have enough food to serve everyone.
   
   Last minute. What do I do? I phone Gourmet Island Bistro almost in a panic
   and tell them my dihlemma. They suggested their garden salad and pasta salads
   to compliment the food I already had on hand.
   
   Me? I was trying to make sure everyone had enough food and salad was right on
   the money. I placed my order site unseen. (You can do that when you are
   calling an establishment that has aways come through for you). I had never
   had their large pasta and side salads before.
   
   Oh My God! Lets just say that I filled up on that delectable pasta salad. Now
   I’ve had pasta salads before and to be honest, I’m not a fan. But this salad
   was waaay over the top delicious. The olives were the star of the show. Plump
   and flavorful cuts of olives with the rest of the seasonings and pasta cooked
   to the perfect consistency. When I say perfect consistency, I’m talking firm
   but soft not firm, hard and undercooked.
   
   The garden salad was another salad that was over the top. Various types of
   plump cherry tomatoes or red, yellow and purple with fresh slices of cucumber
   and onions and romaine lettuce. I didn’t eat any because I was hooked on the
   pasta salad. But it sure was pretty and my team loved it.
   
   As good as the salads were, it was the fact that they did not pull the whole
   24 hour notice for a large specialty salad thing I hear so often from
   retaurants that cater. The fact that they knew I had a need and were there to
   help. I didn’t ask for salad, they heard my problem and fixed it with salad.
   
   Now that’s service. Thanks Guys.

   I ordered the holiday feast for an office lunch party of 50 plus ~10 custom
   lunch boxes and everything turned out fantastic. They worked with our budget
   and packed everything efficiently and easy to serve.
   
   The turkey was moist and covered in gravy, the mashed potatoes were soft and
   smooth, the stuffing and green bean casserole tasted homemade with high
   quality ingredients. It all hit the mark of a holiday family dinner I was

What a gem! Wonderful service from literally everyone there. I ordered the
veggie sandwich and it was the best I’ve ever had. Everyone else seemed to be
pleased with their orders as well. Was just visiting the city, otherwise I’d be
back the next time I planned to go out for lunch! Will definitely remember to
visit the next time I’m in town.

I love this family-run Deli. I get the BLTA and it’s always stacked. They always
deliver on time which is important when you’re stuck in meetings and your window
to eat is very small. Dareen is so cool and one of those people that appreciates
her customers and is just genuinely happy to see you!

This is my new favorite place. Not only do they have a lot of vegan options, the
food is really delicious!!!! They have daily specials that change once a month.
Each day, there us a vegan specials along with a regular special. The Thai soup
and the vegan lettuce wraps were my favorite by far. Don’t forget to ask for a
stamp card if you come back multiple times! The customer service is amazing.
And, if you aren’t sure, ask for a sample!
