RED BANNER email?..be cautious of any attachments, credential requests, or
hyperlinks. ASK YOURSELF...

      a) Am I expecting this email? i.e., was this email in response to an email
I sent out?

      b) Do I normally get this type of email at work? i.e., is this a normal
part of my daily assigned tasks and do I have a business reason to click on the
link, provide my credentials, or open the attachment?

If NO to a and b, do not take any action requested by the email but instead
report the email using the "Report Phish" button on your outlook toolbar then
delete the email. This alerts the cybersecurity team of the potential threat.

NEVER click on a hyperlink, provide my Identification/Password (ID/PW),
or open an attachment on          a red banner email unless you have a business
reason....THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK!

ID/PW and multi-factor authentication (MFA) Requests

 * Never APPROVE any multi-factor authentication (MFA) request unless you just
entered your ID/PW to access the application. Unexpected MFA requests should
be reported via Raise the Red Flag because someone may be attempting to use
your ID/PW to access a controlled area.

 * Do NOT reuse PWs for other applications. If compromised, a hacker may access
   other systems using that PW.

FINAL THOUGHTS

 * YOU are Regions first line of defense against email phishing threats.

 * Treat all RED BANNER email as a potential threat to our network.Think before
   you CLICK!

 * Report suspicious email via Report Phish button.
 * Report suspicious MFA request via Raise Red Flag.
