KIP REVIEWS If I could give more stars I would. We came to Melanie in the deep trenches of sleep deprivation, after trying so many things without success. We saw change instantly - quite literally overnight. My little one (7mo) went from needing to be fed or rocked to sleep, to falling asleep independently and quickly without any distress....By night 8 he slept through (!) We've been able to go out for dinner for the first time since pregnancy. It has quite literally been life changing. Thank you Mel for helping to curb the frequent (x1000) overnight wakes and cat-naps, helping him to self settle, to take the tears out of bed-time, to give me some small freedoms back (i.e. watching a TV ep from start to end, or having my partner put the baby down), for helping to clarify and educate, validate, listen, and being a constant source of support. I AM READY SERVICES ABOUT KIPPERS Hellooooo Let’s get the boring, I know what I am doing, formalities out of the way, - I have been a paediatric nurse for over a decade (think kids, not feet, because feet are totally not my thing!). I have a Bachelor of Applied Science Psychology and a Bachelor of Nursing with postgraduate studies specialising in Paediatrics and Child Development. I am a Mumma to my two beautiful babes 3 year old Freddie and 18 month old Goldie - I am surviving the chaos of the two under two thang! Never ever in my wildest dreams pre-kids (because this is probably as wild as dreams get in your mid 30s) did I realise I would become some sort of sleep obsessed nutter, but here I am, sharing Kippers and my sleepy wisdom with the world as a Certified Infant and Child Sleep Consultant. There is already so much noise out there. It’s overwhelming, confusing and contradicting. Kippers is here to navigate through the noise and bring clarity. Infants sleep is a wild ride and just when you think you’ve got it figured out something changes. I am here to share my Kip Tips, the importance of early foundations and how to ride the wave of those swift-changing early years! What sort of sleep consultant am I? A passionate, dedicated, invested (borderline obsessive) one. I am the kind that just gets it – every baby is unique, and their sleep should be treated as such. I truly believe nothing is a problem unless it is a problem for you! If the sleep deprived life is not your cup of tea, I am here to unpack what is no longer working. I make a (very good!) plan. I hold your hand every step of the way while we get (very dreamy) results! Often little (sometimes big) tweaks and changes are all that’s needed! I truly believe every single baby can sleep well. We can’t survive without sleep, your baby can’t thrive without sleep and to be honest I am just a hot mess with a terrible unwashed mum-bun without sleep.
