Flammable Liquids

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)

 * Oct. 11 – 13, 2022 – QM Environmental – Stoney Creek, ON
 * Oct. 12 & 13, 2022 – BC South – Coquitlam, BC

First Responder Training

Our online LPG Firefighting Awareness training is available free for first
responders! This training provides:

 * knowledge to make safe and strategic risk management decisions in LPG-related
   incidents,
 * understanding of non-intervention, offensive and defensive tactics when
   encountering LPG emergencies, and
 * information about strategic and tactical considerations.

LPG Level 1 Operations Firefighting Training Course

ERAC holds about a half dozen two-day LPG Level 1 Operations firefighting
training courses for first responders annually, with one day of classroom
instruction and an additional day of “live burn” exercises. These events are
held across Canada; instructors are ERAC full-time technical advisors with NFPA
1041 instructor credentials. Many of our responders are on-call firefighters in
their community.

Our next training sessions will take place:

 * Sept. 10 & 11, 2022 - Lloydminster, AB
 * Sept. 17 & 18, 2022 - Edwardsburg, ON
 * November 5 & 6, 2022 - Enderby, BC
