My experience with MB Motors was excellent from sales and follow up. Email and
calls always followed up. On the day of collecting my car I was disappointed . I
was expecting the attached two tone car as per my contract (attached) and the
Hyundai brochure given to me when I put my deposit down. Sales rep circled
colours which were not available. I went for Black on top and tangerine on
bottom. I went for Executive model paying extra. I emailed sales to confirm some
of the extras including the Black top (two tone). It stated when going for
executive Model the car would be two tone same as model on display. On the day I
got all tangerine (see attached photo). I brought this to the attention of sales
rep and he checked his email and saw my question regarding two tone. Apologised
for not getting back to me but then stated while handing me the keys it would
have cost 600 euro extra. I did not agree with him as it was part of the
executive model package. Anyway minor complaint. The Kona is excellent and MB
motors are a good company to deal with.

I am so impressed with my new Car , Fahri was so helpful with the whole process

Fahri is an absolute gentleman to deal with. I was ment to write this a while
ago but just kept getting away from me . My wife and I bought a Audi A3 a few
months ago of fahri and it was a quick and hassle free process. We had sold are
car and needed something ver quick as we have 3 kids . We arrived down one
Saturday morning and place was packed. We got talking to fahri and he was very
knowledgeable on anything I asked. We had a great laugh with some of the other

Beware. Wate of time, energy and money. I've hold off my review for quite a long
time now hoping they could fix the car, but it seems that it's only a
fantasy.Brought a 2016 vw 1.4tsi back in October 2022 meeting the 29k price tag,
come with 1 year warranty.Experienced a random multiple cyclinder engine misfire
with a p0300 code since the 2nd month of hvaing it, and it's been 10months now,
multiple time back and forward to their place and still never got resolved, it
has got to the point where my Insurance company AXA have started asking me to
pay 53euro each time I uses a loaner car.It's been a month since I've report
back to their service department that the car still misfire, sending over a full
VCDS scan of the code to them but still not heard from them, they are very
likely going to ignore it until the year ends.[ Asked to speak to their general
manager since the 6th month of the issue to get things resolved but was told
that he's not in "every time", never contact never cared. ]Robert.. when you
pops into him in the shop he'll talk nicely but when he always say he'll call
you back about the issue, and he'll never called back(you'll have to call back
the next day to find someone else to contact him again).Adam is a very
knowledgeable guy, used to be their service manager until he turns to the sales.
He continues to comfort me each time I comes in for the misfire fix.Neil, who
sold me the car, a professional salesman. Not too much of a after sales
person.Jackie... A lady started working in the service department not long ago,
I know she's trying her best..Kelvin mechanic foreman, nice guy.. I only wish
the car could be fixed in 10months time..Ok, last fix attempt was done half
month before the 1 year warranty ends. It was on updating the ECU firmware, and
there were still a p0300 recorded a multiple cyclinder misfire in the backend
when logging with ODIS. Sent email to them with the findings, Adam replied
saying it's a pending code and nothing to worry. Nothing to follow up on, no
warranty extension or whatsoever even with an issues started right at the really
beginning after the pruchase.Anyway with luck my car is running fine since then
apart from the long term fuel trim is still running at a negative number.
Suppose they've fixed it? I would say at least they've tried owning up with the
issue and spent the time looking at it trying to fix it.To be fare, I will now
move my rating to half &half instead of 1 star. Now hopefully my car would keep
running for a while without issues..

Recently bought a Volkswagen Golf here and the service I received was
exceptional! Neil went above and beyond to answer endless questions via
WhatsApp. When I received the car it was spotless inside and out. Buying a car
at Michael Barrable Motors was a very positive experience and I would highly

Bought a car of Adam the end of April from start to finish it was smooth
sailing, great trade in price on my older car, my new car was in mint condition
anything that needed looking after before I picked the car up was sorted, fully
valeted, coated and serviced and lots more all to a very high standard, after
sales was top class. Adam has a great knowledge about all cars,If you’re into
your cars I recommend dealing with him.

This review is on work carried out on my Hyundai i40 tourer over a year ago. In
Jan 2023 I first became aware of the 1st of these issues, In Aug 2023 I noticed
the 2nd one.Since this work was carried out Barrable Motors is not now a Hyundai
Franchise.Rear left seatbelt with 2 anchorage's;originally only 1 was not
working. They took out the dual set and replaced it with a single one. I now
cannot carry a middle rear seat pax, have to purchase a new dual set.Replacement
reversing sensor; company fitting my new towbar took photos to show me the work
that was previously carried out (to point out it wasn't them) It was rewired
through the rear indicator, part of which is missing a cover. I now need an auto
elec

A Young Arthur Daly teenager in a suit was all the business when trying to sell
me the sales manager. White Hyundai Tucson. But 2 weeks later has never given me
a call back to discuss the sale further.My wonder this company has lost its

I went today to try a car. The staff was nice however typical sale's man. I
noted a few things about the car I was planning to buy. The car was quite new
however it had scratch marks and some signs of rust. The cars are imported from
Japan hence no history in Ireland. I'll probably go for a new car. However I
think MBM are a great dealers and might be the perfect solution for someone
else.

I'm left with no choice but to leave this very bad review as I sent email over
two weeks ago and no reply.I would not buy a car ever again off this garage. I
have been up and down over 6 times to them in 9 months & including borrowing a
car which had non existent brakes paying for every single toll on mine and
theirs. 1 year warranty is definitely not worth it here.From my radiators inside
needing to be changed my bushions on my wheels. Changing my anti roll bar for no
reason.Said over a month ago nothing wrong with the car or brakes. To be told by
another garage my dball joint was completely worn and that my.brake pads needing
changing very soonTaking days on end to just have a look at a car. When I can go
to my garage now and 2 hours to get looked at. Your not a priority your just
another sale. As a small business I would definitely not be like this when I'm
bigger than I am now.

this car dealership more. The service we received from Adam was brilliant he
made the experience hassle free and was very friendly and genuinely wanted to
help us get the perfect family car and made sure the car was in tip top shape

I purchased a lovely car from Michael and the team over a month ago and have to
say I am very impressed with the condition of the car. Very low milage, pristine
condition and you can tell it was very well looked after. The team were
excellent, any query I had was answered immediately. They were a pleasure to
deal with. The car was delivered free of charge. My only complaint was the car
being sold without a valid NCT which I wasn’t aware of until after delivery.
Neil immediately booked an NCT as this is obviously the process and it passed
with flying colours, but I was a bit surprised to not have been made aware of
this. The NCT are so backed up they initially gave me an appt for 4 months away
but I got in contact and asked to be put on the priority list. I would recommend
anyone in this situation to do the same. Because the car cant be guaranteed to
still pass 4 months later.

a manual for years. I dealt with Neil who couldn’t of been more helpful so I

Very friendly and professional approach to the customer.I have my car delivered
without any additional charge, while another dealer asked for 100 euro despite,
he was much closer than MB Motors. They also offered free 1-year full guarantee
without any additional charge, while the other garage only 3 months, or extended
2 years for additional 500 euro.Niall Costello is very competent salesman with
friendly and easy approach to the customer.Adam at service desk, also deserves
great notes.Overall, I can highly recommend MB Motors for anyone looking to buy
a secondhand car.

Pretty good dealership to deal with. Bought my car here, few hiccups in the
process with the original car I was buying being sold to someone else but the
same car came in again so it was fine. Had an issue with car tire senors which
had to be fixed 2 times but was fixed in the end. I just got my yearly service
done here aswell. Very expensive but quick and easy. Don't think I'll be back
for the service again but would deal with them again. Not sure what other places
charge but it was 350+ euros for oil & filter and air filter.
