WHO WE ARE

Wright Quality Services (WQS) is a Certified Aboriginal Business (CCAB) that
provides Non-Destructive Testing and Field Evaluation Services to a variety of
industries across Western Canada. Here at WQS, we have found our success by
being dedicated to delivering high quality services at a competitive price. Our
industry experience has provided us with the tools necessary to add value to our
client’s workflows and create long lasting relationships with them.

What sets us apart from other NDT companies within the industry is that all our
owners are seasoned technicians and inspectors themselves. Which means they have
the ability to be on the frontlines with our technicians, providing hands on
mentorship and creating that personal relationship with our clients at the field
level not just at the corporate level.

Scott Hubert
Scott is a seasoned executive level leader with over 27 years progressive
experience in the energy and industrial construction sectors. Combining diverse
operational and construction management expertise with field leadership, and
having worked both as the client and a contractor, Scott provides a unique
insight into the complete lifecycle of projects, from inception to daily
operations. He has a proven track record of success providing strong leadership
in project management, project controls, estimating, planning/scheduling, safety
and business development.

Paul Merchant
Paul is a demonstrated leader with over 16 years experience in Industrial Rope
Access Maintenance as well as being a certified IRATA Level III for 13 years. He
brings with him vast professional experience in Business Development & Project
Management. Well-versed in IRATA Compliance and Rope Access Regulations coupled
with excellent working knowledge of behavioural safety within the workplace.



Paul has a demonstrated history of creating procedures, equipment management,
selection, and inspection. Dedicated to integrity and respect within the
workplace. Advocate for employees, our company and professional development.

Jessie Foster

With over 11 years of experience in NDT, Jessie exhibits an indisputable
efficiency and dedication within the industry. His extensive industry knowledge,
integrity and compassionate personality make him an indispensable member to our
team.

Jessie strives to maintain a culture of quality and respect amongst his peers
and has built a reputation of providing service with a smile. He welcomes new
challenges and adversity in his work and does so with a positive attitude.
Jessie is routinely looking for the most innovative and cost-effective solutions
for inspection services, regardless of the complexity of the job, and
consistently searches for ways to improve and advance in the NDT field.

With one of the best work ethics you can find, he is an asset to any company and
a welcomed addition to WQS as Operations Manager of Advanced NDT.

Ahmed Jamaluddin
As a dedicated Engineer-In-Training, Ahmed possesses a passion for providing
innovative and cost-effective solutions to technical problems. He has developed
a versatile skill set with experience in pipeline engineering, material testing,
and NDT. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
focusing on industrial process and design optimization.



As a young professional, Ahmed has managed multimillion-dollar projects from the
initial design stage to construction with an emphasis on schedule, quality, and
budget requirements. Embracing the core values of integrity, invention, and
growth, Ahmed is committed to achieving quantifiable results while driving WQS
projects forward. With his extensive knowledge and key attention to detail,
Ahmed is a valuable asset to the WQS team.

Karly Pliska
With over 10 years as a reputable safety representative, Karly is a highly
regarded Safety Professional. Karly’s extensive education and commitment to
Occupational Health and Safety makes her a key element to Wright Quality
Services Safety Program. From hosting toolbox talks to developing high level Job
Safety Analysis she is able to keep everyone engaged and involved from start to
finish.



Some responsibilities as a corporate safety leader at WQS include ensuring
compliance with all applicable Acts, Regulations and codes of OH&S and coaching
all employees and management on how to drive a strong safety culture and safe
workplace throughout the NDE Industry.

Karly continues to provide leadership, training, development of policies and
consultation services with expert advise to all WQS employees and departments.
