Login & Contact Support TROUBLE LOGGING IN? I FORGOT MY USERNAME. I'm trying to request a password reset, but I don't remember my username. IP ACCESS MANAGEMENT HAS LOCKED ME OUT. My IP has changed and I can no longer access my account. I AM UNAUTHORIZED TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT. When I attempt to login, I am told I am not authorized to access SendGrid. TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION CODE NOT RECEIVED. The phone number setup with Two-factor Authentication not receiving code. I AM HAVING A DIFFERENT LOGIN ISSUE. No problem. Take a look at our Integrate with SendGrid page for information on how to connect with SMTP or our Web API. What is my API Key? API Keys allow you to generate an authentication credential that is separate from your username and password. They are independent from one another and are easily disposable. You should create unique API keys for each of your applications or servers so that you can easily revoke them without disrupting other systems if needed. For more information, click here. What is my SMTP Username and Password? We recommend using "apikey" for your SMTP username and creating an API Key to use for your password. For more information, click here. What kinds of account security does SendGrid offer? SendGrid offers Two Factor Authentication and IP Access Management features to secure your account. Additional security information can be found here. What is Sender Authentication? Sender Authentication is the functionality that shows ISPs that SendGrid has your permission to send emails on your behalf. This permission is given by the act of pointing very specific DNS entries from your domain registrar to SendGrid. A common hurdle that many users encounter during the Sender Authentication process is that DNS records fail to validate, even though the records were just created! How do I add an Unsubscribe Link to my campaign? The first step to include an unsubscribe link is to create an unsubscribe group. Unsubscribe groups allow your readers to opt out of certain types, or groups, of emails instead of globally unsubscribing from all of your emails. How do I manage my contacts using the Web API? The SendGrid web API allows you to manage your Marketing Campaigns contacts. Complete documentation is available here. You can also view our interactive documentation here. How do I remove unusuable contacts? It is common to have contacts that result in a group unsubscribe, block, bounce, invalid email address, or spam report. Attempting to send email to these contacts can negatively impact your reputation since these contacts do not want to (and will not) receive your marketing emails. By continuing to store these contacts, you are being charged for recipients that will automatically be dropped. Learn how to remove these contacts here. My email is going to spam, what can I do? There are numerous reasons why email providers place messages into the Spam folder.
