OUR STORY

Where it Started

Our founder and owner, Tiffany Wideman, started In the Nightstand in 2013 out of
her home in the Philadelphia area. Prior to she hosted many private events at
her home for herself and close friends with well known local sex consultant,
“Pleasure”. That’s when she became very intrigued with sexual health and
intimacy. She soon realized how empowering it was to gather with her peers in a
safe environment; tell stories, laugh, and discuss the challenges faced in their
romantic lives. Shortly after she decided to go for it, and birthed, In The
Nightstand, launching in March 2013. At the time, she knew nothing about
operating a business, she just knew she wanted to do sometime she loved doing,
something that would not only make her happy but others as well. She knew she
could use this as a platform for women empowerment as well as a gateway for
women to learn to feel comfortable with their bodies and exploring their sexual
desires in a safe space. 




Business quickly took off, she begin providing hours of unforgettable fun for
many clients and their guest, hosting Girls Nights, Birthday Parties, Mother’s
Day and Valentine’s Day events. 




In order to reach more potential clients, she launched a small online boutique,
giving clients the opportunity to shop freely, discreetly and confidentially
from their home.




Using the latest sexual health education, the best in must have products, and
the latest bedroom accessories, Tiffany empowers, educates and entertains the
women at her parties.
