SHADOW CAREERS Shadow Careers is a new talent source for the rapidly expanding Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector – the fastest growing industry in South Africa. Shadow Careers is creating a new talent source for the rapidly expanding Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector – the fastest growing industry in SA. Our aim is to enable our students to deal with the ever-changing requirements and complexities of human-centric digitally enabled customer service. We focus on unemployed matriculants and excluded or underprivileged youth, providing a free three-month, purpose-specific program, with guaranteed employment upon completion. Nutun houses an in-house Shadow Careers training centre in the Durban branch and facilitated 117 (for 2023) graduates through this programme who then started their careers at Nutun. ONE AGENT. ONE CHILD. One Agent One Child, in partnership with Mellon Educate, focuses on providing education to underprivileged children in South Africa. For every qualified agent servicing an international client, one child receives the joy of literacy at the foundation phase of their education. With 78% of South African Grade 4 children unable to read or write in any language, there is a grave need for intervention. In partnership with Mellon Educate, we are focused on delivering a lasting solution that will create a ripple effect of change, one child at a time. CREATING THE FUTURE An enduring legacy 1959 - 2022 TIMELINE 2022 Transaction Capital Risk Services rebrands to Nutun Acquires 75% of both Synergy Contact Centre located in South Africa and Synergy Outsourcing Limited located in the UK. 2017 Transaction Capital augments the TCRS group with the acquisition of 100% of Recoveries Corp (Australia). 2016 Transaction Capital Risk Services Group (“TCRS”) is formed, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Transaction Capital Limited Group. 2012 Transaction Capital Limited lists on the JSE Limited. 2007 Transaction Capital Group is formed. 2006 MBD’s first securitisation programme formed. 2004 The MBD Group establishes Capital Data, a specialist business focused on legal collections solely for debt, owned by the MBD Group. 2003 The soon to be Transaction Capital Group acquires MBD. The MBD Group acquires Asset Solutions Company 2000 African Bank Investments Limited acquires MBD.
