DEVELOPER, DESIGNER, ARTIST



Hey, I'm Xian.  I'm what you might call a multipotentialite. Some might refer to
me as a Jack-of-all-trades, Master-of-none, but I like to think of myself as a
multi-classer that can tank when necessary as well cast both healing and
offensive magic spells; though truthfully, I'm an artificer at heart. I love
being creative and taking things into unexplored or unusual directions.





WEB DEVELOPER



20+ years of experience designing and building for the web from the dark days of
table based layouts to modern, responsive, web applications.


DESIGNER



From Graphic Design to Websites to Marketing Materials to Boardgames to Action
Figures; and always with a focus on User friendly and Feature rich.


SELF TAUGHT



Constantly learning and increasing my knowledge. Always willing to research and
up my skills to complete my tasks.

Nearly all of my knowledge is self-taught as I get to a point where I need to
know X to accomplish my goal so I go and learn X. This approach has led me to
learn things "out of order" at times but it has served well in building up my
broad selection of tools when it comes to coming up with creative solutions to
difficult problems.




Interestingly enough, board game design has been the place where I've gotten
more diverse experience than anywhere else as it draws on writing for back
stories and world building; analytical and logical thinking for developing game
mechanics and rule systems; character design and illustration; graphic design
for rulebooks and game assets; 3D design and CAD for miniatures and game
components; front end and back end programming and developing for game-related
sites and companion apps; to say nothing of marketing, networking, playtesting,
material and manufacturer research and logistics; the list goes on and on.




I truly enjoy taking a project from initial concept to completion while wearing
as many different hats as possible and working with intelligent people at all
stages of the project.
