INDIA’S MOST INFLUENTIAL MEETING POINT FOR DATA & CLOUD ENTHUSIASTS

Following the grand success of our inaugural DCCI summit ASEAN, Tradepass is
pleased to host its first edition of the Datacentre and Cloud Infrastructure
Summit INDIA on 23 - 24 November 2021. The virtual summit will host over 1000+
industry experts and top officials from the leading organizations to network,
collaborate and share crucial intelligence on the Data Centre & Cloud industry.

The data consumption generated by over half a billion digital users in India is
at an ever-growing high, making way for INDIA to become a major ‘HUB’ for
datacentre & cloud technology in ASIA. The digital economy in India is estimated
to grow to a staggering $1 trillion with the country’s datacentre industry alone
contributing $8 billion by 2025 (currently estimated at $2.5 - $3 billion).
Reports also indicate that the Indian Datacentre industry is expected to double
its capacity and cross the 1GW mark by 2023 as a result of the growth in
digitalization, rapid cloud adoption and ambitious growth plans from operators.
Witnessing this surge in demand, the leading investors and global datacentre
players have accelerated their operations especially during the last six months
by establishing joint ventures with operators in the Indian market.

The Indian Government with its data sovereignty laws mandate all domestic and
international companies to store certain data types within the country’s
geographical limits that will further drive the demand and fuel the growth of
domestic datacentres across major metro cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru,
Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi/NCR. Furthermore, India’s Ministry of Electronics &
Information Technology has also drafted a policy where the government would
provide ‘Infrastructure status’ to the Datacentre sector, just like Railways,
Roadways, and Power.

Several names have emerged in key sectors like education, retail, e-commerce,
healthcare, food delivery and insurance, along with other existing players from
banking & finance, aviation, utility and many more who are rapidly switching to
cloud based data storage to manage and analyze their massive data volumes. Not
to forget, the telecom players with their 5G rollouts will only add to the
exponential growth in data consumption.

8 BILLION USD

Total estimated worth of the Indian datacentre industry by 2026.

7.1 BILLION USD

Total estimated worth of the Indian cloud computing market by 2022.

25,000 EDGE DATACENTRES

and micro) in the near future.

126 THIRD-PARTY DATACENTRES

Total number of third-party datacentres (colocation or hyperscale) in India at
the moment.

20 BILLION IOT DEVICES

Total estimated increase in the number of IoT devices in India in the next 5
years.

102 MW

Total power consumed by the Indian datacentre industry in 2020, which surpassed
the primary markets of Europe and the US.

64 MILLION SMES

Total number of SMEs in India, most of which are rapidly adopting cloud
technologies like SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS based on their needs.

30 MILLION SQUARE FEET

Total estimated third-party datacentre footprint in India by 2026.

Cisco helps seize the opportunities of tomorrow by proving that amazing things
can happen when you connect the unconnected. An integral part of our DNA is
creating long-lasting customer partnerships, working together to identify our
customers' needs and provide solutions that fuel their success.

We have preserved this keen focus on solving business challenges since our
founding in 1984. Len Bosack and wife Sandy Lerner, both working for Stanford
University, wanted to email each other from their respective offices, but
technological shortcomings did not allow such communication. A technology had to
be invented to deal with disparate local area protocols, and as a result of
solving their challenge, the multiprotocol router was born.
