I prefer last pass just because it is so easy. I do pay for last pass pro so I

I never said that they were forcing me, so please don't put words in my mouth. I
offered a cross-platform alternative for those looking. I've been happy to pay
for 1Password for years including a subscription for the last year or so.
Although one bit of info that you might be unaware of and probably don't care
about, but I'll provide it anyhow, in case it benefits others : One of the
things I love d about 1Password is that it is cross-platform.

While I'd rather use my Mac all day, I do on occasion need to run Windows and
Linux and have access to my password database. However, in the last year
1Password has hobbled the 1Password 6 for Windows client so that it no longer
supports password syncing by means other than a 1Password subscription ie: can't
use Dropbox or some other file sharing solution, unlike the Mac client.

The Agile Bits devs have said they would address this in a future update, but
for the time being their workaround is to revert to the 1Password 4 app on
Windows, or use their subscription service. So if you're in the cross-platform
boat, then 1Password, while not forcing you, is very strongly pushing you
towards the subscription model if you want the browser extensions to continue to
work with modern browsers, that is. Do I think 1Password subscriptions are bad,
evil, and not worth paying for? Do I feel like Agile Bits is holding me down and
forcing their subscription model down my throat?

Do I think that 1Password may no longer be the perfect solution for my needs?
Not sure of deal expiry will update when I find the information.
