This is a modified version of the HeapAdjuster mod which can be found here:

The purpose of this asi remains the same as the original which is to resolve ERR
MEM EMBEDDEDALLOC ALLOC error crashes caused by using more memory than the heap
allows. The modified version comes with an ini so users can define the heap size
manually as they wish. The project is open source and can be found here:

Please ensure to only use one version of this asi at a time. The original is
titled "GTAV.HeapAdjuster.asi" while this version is simply "HeapAdjuster.asi"

   i get the game memory error when after 5 mins or reach downtown i have a high

   @JAM102970 hello there sir, so I've done most of these steps that you wrote
   about. However, my issue is kind of odd one.
   The game runs fine but there ar some parts where the crashes happen (no error
   code nothing, just straight to desktop) if there's a fair amount of vehicle
   traffic. I have no custom vehicle mods installed and I'm using VisualVanilla.
   Anyway, this is an odd type of crash because I was able to find the most
   likely spots where this happens. Eg the freeway area where the second mission
   starts. And It's at random times of the day
   I know that this is tied to the games features. So at 6pm onwards more
   traffic will spawn creating a choke point if you will for the system.
   I've managed to find the most direct and obvious way to fix this: lower the
   traffic density slider... Now the game lacks that busy vibe (and that's
   something I don't wanna change. Dense traffic is more realistic but more
   taxing on the rig. I mean : yeah duhhh)
   So is there a way to maintain the maximum density and to prevent the crashes?
   My specs are not great: xeon e3 1270 v2, 16gb ddr3 and a 6gb 1660 super.
   Aside from ugrading my rig and turning some settings down - are there any
   other options?

   @Adas8812 It's difficult to determine the exact cause of your crashes, I
   don't think it has to do with your graphics card because the 1660 super
   should be able to handle gta 5 but, there may be other factors that can cause
   that. I used to have random crashes before and it had to do with conflicting
   maps. Do you by any chance have ymaps or xml maps that load automatically?
   Sometimes ymaps conflict with each other and sometimes with xml maps, as
   well. Also, a specific mod, not related to maps, may also cause a sudden
   crash, specially one that hasn't been updated. The only way to find out if it
   is a mod you would have to test that by removing any asi or scripts mods that
   you may have installed and test the game by installing only a couple at a
   time in order to pinpoint the culprit but, that's kind of tedious to do. What
   I would suggest to you to try first would be to do the following:
   
   1. FIrst, make sure you got a solid gameconfig installed, download this one >
   https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars , choose the "2x
   traffic 2x peds" and install in this path: mods/update/update/common/data/,
   once it has been installed then open it up in OpenIV to edit and change these
   values:
   
   <VehicleAmbientDensityMultiplier_Base value=140/>, the original default value
   should be "140" but, change it to "66"
   
   <VehicleAmbientDensityMultiplier value=200/>, the original default value
   should be "200" but, change it to "100"
   
   2. If you already have the HeapAdjuster installed then make sure the value is
   set to = 750 in the ini file.
   
   3. If you already have the PackfileLimitAdjuster installed then make sure the
   value is set to = 10000 in the ini file. If you don't have it make sure to
   download it here > https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/packfile-limit-adjuster
   
   4. There are two other asi files that you should also install in your game.
   These are:
   
   * PoolManager - This is an ASI plugin that attempts to identify the cause of
   crashes related to memory pools within the gameconfig.xml. It's an asi plugin
   that everyone should also have installed in their games. You can download it
   here > https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/poolmanager-dilapidated
   
   * fwBoxStreamerVariable and decals limit patch - This is another ASI file
   that everyone should also have. This patches ymap load lists extent limits
   basically when there are too many ymaps running in the game. Even if you
   don't have a custom-made ymap of your own installed, the game itself still
   has a whole bunch of ymaps that load when you launch the game so you should
   also have those files installed as well to promote stability. You can

   Now listen very carefully, after you've installed all that, your game will
   probably crash a couple of times at launch, maybe even 3 times but, don't
   worry, the reason it will crash a couple of times at launch is because the
   game doesn't recognize the changes you just made to the archive. It takes a
   few attempts for the game to accept and memorize the new files and the
   changes made to the gameconfig. After your game launches normally and you're
   in the game, play around for a while, go to those areas that you said your
   game crashes and see how it behaves. I don't think you should have any more
   sudden crashes anymore after you've done what I just mentioned above
   correctly.

   One point I forgot to mention is besides VisualVanilla mod I'm also using
   "Alex106's map fixes and updates mods". After you mentioned stuff about maps
   this got me thinking that maybe those map mods could be the the reason for
   crashing.
   However their premise would suggest otherwise (the map fixes and updates
   should improve the game's experience).
   
   Anyway, this is like out of the left field but - I wish gta 5 would have
   stuff like the steam workshop so that some warning would show up (during
   gameplay, before the launch of the game) saying: "look these two mods here
   conflict with one another and they ain't gonna function and or cause game
   issues ". This would make the whole modding process and the whole " turn the
   game on and off" process less of a burden.

   @sILVIu5753 I don't personally use the LSPDFR mod but I know the HeapAdjuster
   and the PackfileLimitAdjuster won't interfere with that mod plus the other
   two asi plugins, the PoolManager and the fwBoxStreamerVariable and decals
   limit patch, those won't cause problems with LSPDFR either because the
   PoolManager.asi deals with crashes related to memory pools and the
   fwBoxStreamerVariable_DecalsLimit-Patch.asi has to do with ymaps and just
   basically extent limits when someone has too many ymaps in their game, that's
   why I recommended installing that plug in also... so none of those will cause
   any issues with LSPDR. The only thing I can think of may be the gameconfig. I
   recommend using the gameconfigs from F7YO, which I mentioned in my comment, I
   use the "2x traffic 2x peds" gameconfig, which doubles the amount of vehicles
   and peds in the game, however maybe LSPDFR relies on stock traffic and peds,
   if that's the case then maybe you can try swapping the "2x traffic 2x peds"
   with the one in the "Stock Traffic (Gta base}" folder, which is a modified
   gameconfig that can handle mods but, still keeps traffic and peds at stock.
   
   By the way, I forgot to mentioned in my comment, when you download F7YO's
   gameconfigs there are two folders in there, one says "For More Mods" and the
   other one says "For Less Mods", always pick a gameconfig from the "For More
   Mods" folder and delete the other folder.

   i have 32 gb ram using carr add on and replace packs , and evertyime i go to
   add a new script/mod i have to change heap, sometimes it works at 750,
   sometimes 1,000 , 2048, 5512, 10000 how do I get one to work even when I add

   @JAM102970 eu queria ver com você porque essas outra tambem tem dois arquivos
   update.rpf 1.0.2699.0 assim tambem como essa 1.0.3095.0 não sei para que
   modificaram as outra atualizações do com dois update.rpf sendo que com que o
   padrão do jogo já era mais que suficiente só sei que esses dois arquivos
   fazem jogo da crash mesmo sem mod.

   @nenlee Eles moveram alguns Shaders e outros tipos de dados para um segundo
   update.rpf (update2.rpf) no patch 1.0.3095 atual. Não sabia que o antigo
   1.0.2699 tinha um update2.rpf, não me lembro se tinha, não tenho mais essa

   @nenlee Eu nem sei de que mod você está falando, nunca vi esse tipo de erro
   antes e nada disso tem nada a ver com o HeapAjuster. Eu sei que existe um mod
   que permite criar objetos no mundo do GTAV usando o Map Editor, que é um
   arquivo .asi chamado: Object Spawn Unlocker. Com base no que estou vendo,
   você provavelmente está usando algum tipo de mod de desmembramento; se for
   esse o caso, você o instalou incorretamente ou talvez esteja faltando um
   arquivo necessário.
