I just wanted to follow up with you regarding a visit to Baily Place’s Cortland
Branch this morning. I stopped in to remove a vehicle I gifted to my parents
from my current insurance policy. The woman who helped me was very pleasant,
informative and helpful. I’m not sure her name but she sits upfront on the left
as you are standing at the counter. I work with people all day and am familiar
with the employees I oversee not doing the “best” job possible and from time to
time displaying an attitude of general un-interest. That was the exact opposite
on my visit and just thought you should know. I was satisfied to the point that
I will be stopping back in later this week to purchase a policy she quoted me,
for a used boat I just picked up.

I am writing to thank you both for the attention that you gave to our recent
claim. When a child gets into an auto accident, it causes one to step back and
consider just what is really important. Our daughter walked away from the
accident uninjured and that’s all that mattered. However, the reality of dealing
with the insurance claim and buying a new car had to be tended to. Susie , you
acted quickly behind the scenes to be sure everything was in order. Marsha, NYCM
responded to our claim quickly and we had the check in hand less than two weeks

She then called the next day to make sure we understood everything and called
back a few days later to make sure adjusters had been out to see us,. Everytime

I have had both auto and homeowner’s insurance with Travelers through Bailey
Place Insurance for many years. Thankfully, I have not had very many claims, but
when I have had them, they have been very pleasant and efficient to deal with. I
also like that they contact me to review my policies and make sure I have the
coverage I need. I also comparison shop every few years and no one has been able
to even come close to the price I pay for the same amount of coverage.

In Aug. 2012 I had an accident. Someone lost their brakes and hit me. I called
Bailey Place Insurance and they were very helpful in getting Kemper to contact
me. I dealt with an agent, Paul Kelly, and he was very helpful. On the day I
called, they sent someone to do the estimate. The next week I had a check for
the damages. I was told I would have to pay the deductible. I explained it was
not my fault and didn’t feel I should have to pay it. A week later after
receiving the check for the damages, I received the check for the deductible. My
entire experience was wonderful. Everything was done in a timely fashion. Kemper
Ins. was awesome to deal with.

I stopped into Bailey Place to with pay a bill and make an adjustment with
our car insurance this past week and was able to catch up with Amanda and
John. In the conversation I realized that my wife and I have been doing
business with Bailey Place for over 23 years. We first joined them when we
were married in 1990. It started with our car insurance and then grew from
there as we purchased a house and now all and any of our insurance is with
Bailey Place. In these tough times, I like you receive many solicitations to
change insurance companies and they claim to be better priced. I took
three of the larger ones and actually did an apples to apples comparison to
our coverage with Bailey Place. Not one of them could compare. Even if we moved
all of insurance coverage over they couldn’t compare. Bailey Place has always
kept us in the loop of what we have and what we might want to look at as
your life changes. Knock on wood we have not had to have any major claims
but it nice to know we are supporting a local company that is providing us
with affordable insurance and we are welcomed when you walk through the
door. So, if your shopping around for insurance I would start with those
that have been proven to be reliable and economically on your side. Thanks
