Introducing Neve

 

Dear Margaret,

Get ready because we have something exciting to share today! 

After two years of dedication, collaboration, and listening to your voices, we
are proud to unveil Neve – our brand-new website designed exclusively for women,
girls, feminine identifying and non-binary people with disabilities, their
families and the professionals who support them.

Neve is a co-designed, accessible, and safe space built with your needs at the
forefront. Here, we explore our shared experiences. It is a place to learn,
share information and act.

Neve is about supporting our community to live safe and fulfilled lives. Neve is
here to support you. 

We believe Neve is the first Easy Read first website. When you go to the web
address you land on the website in Easy Read mode and can use the top bar to
navigate to the Plain English mode if this is your preferred format. Check it
out! neve.wwda.org.au

Neve is a place for you:

 * A safe haven: Find a welcoming community where our experiences are
   understood, validated, and shared.
 * Accessibility at its core: Navigate with ease thanks to Easy Read formatting,
   text-to-speech, customisable font sizes, and more.
 * Knowledge is power: Explore information on topics that matter most to you,
   from wellbeing and support to advocating for your rights.
 * No judgement, only empowerment: Neve is about supporting us where we are at
   and empowering us to celebrate our healing and recovery.

Join us in celebrating this milestone! We will be officially launching the Neve
website on Thursday 16 May 2024 and we would love you to join us in sharing this
resource with your communities. After we have officially launched the site we
will be distributing social media posts and email copy that you can share!

Every word, every design choice on Neve reflects your input. This is a website
built by our community, for our community. As our valued members, you're the
very first to experience it!

To show our gratitude for your contributions, we've put together a special
