INTRODUCTION

fully informed about the information we collect, how it is used, shared, and
protected, and the choices you have with it.

The mission of Bounce.IO is to make email bounces better for everyone. We build
products to make working with email easy, safe and manageable. Bounce.IO
(“Company” or “we”), operates the website located at www.betterbounces.net (the
“Site”). Through the Site, we provide information and resources, allow users to
register and participate in community forums and opt in to various
communications (the “Service”).

The following will help you understand how Bounce.IO collects and uses the
personally identifying information you provide through betterbounces.net. After

We also collect and use information about your interactions with the Service in
a manner and format that does not identify you as an individual (“Non-Personally
Identifiable Information”). We may collect, use, and disclose Non-Personally
Identifiable Information as set forth below.

COOKIES INFORMATION

Like many websites, when you visit the Service, we may send one or more cookies
— a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to your
computer that uniquely identifies your browser and lets Bounce.IO help you log
in faster and enhance your navigation through the site. A cookie may also convey
information to us about how you use the Service (e.g., the pages you view, the
links you click and other actions you take on the Service), and allow us to
track your usage of the Service over time. A persistent cookie remains on your
hard drive after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your

your browser’s width and height, and other information that assists us in
improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information in
aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any
particular individual user.


LOG FILE INFORMATION

Log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you
access a web page. When you use our Service, our servers automatically record
certain log file information. These server logs may include anonymous
information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser
type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact
with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other
such information.


CLEAR GIFS/WEB BEACONS INFORMATION

When you use the Service, we may employ clear gifs (also known as web beacons)
which are used to anonymously track the online usage patterns of our users
anonymously. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent
to our users to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by
recipients. The information is allows for more accurate reporting and
improvement of the Service.


INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Except for the situations listed here in this Privacy Policy, we will not share
your personal information with third parties. To the extent we are legally
permitted to do so, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in the event
that we are required to provide your personal information to third parties as
part of legal process.


AGENTS AND THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

To provide the Service to you, we may sometimes use other businesses to perform
certain specialized services such as data processing or other technology
services. In such instances, we may provide your personal information to those
businesses but they are not permitted to retain or use your information for any

CHANGE OF CONTROL / ASSET TRANSFER

As the Company develops, we may buy other businesses or their assets or sell all
or parts of our business assets. Customer information is generally one of the
business assets involved in such transactions. Thus, in the event that the
assets of the Company in whole or in parts are acquired by a third-party,
customer information, including any visitor information collected through the
Site or the Service, would be one of the transferred assets. In the event of a
corporate change in control or sale of all or parts of our business assets our
users will be notified in accordance with the “Changes to this Policy” section
of the policy if their personal information is provided to the new corporate
entity or asset purchaser.


LEGAL COMPLIANCE

Company reserves the right to disclose member information in special cases when
we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to
identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing
injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally)
Company’s rights or property, other visitors, list members, or anyone else that
could be harmed by such activities. Company also reserves the right to disclose
visitor or list member information when we believe in good faith that the law
requires it.


COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE SITE

SERVICE EMAIL

We will send you service-related announcements, which are not promotional in
nature, on occasions when it is necessary to do so. For example, if our service
is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we may send you email notification.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage
your account. We may communicate with you by email or telephone.

ACCESSING AND UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION

Bounce.IO will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide you reasonable
access to any of your personally identifying information we maintain within 30
days of your access request. We provide this access so you can review it, make
corrections or request deletion of your data. If we cannot honor your request
within the 30-day period, we will tell you when we will provide access. In the
unlikely event that we cannot provide you access to this information, we will
explain why we cannot do so.


CHOICE/OPT-OUT

Service Email messages are required to fulfill the Service to you. You may opt
out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not
wish to receive them you may opt-out and/or deactivate your account by following
the instructions included in each communication or by contacting Bounce.IO
Support at support@bounce.io.

We may provide you the opportunity to opt-in to additional newsletters or
promotional communications sent by email. If you have opted in or otherwise
qualify to receive these forms of communication, and no longer wish to receive
these communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the

using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We follow generally accepted
