"YQR Muslim Votes" is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to
igniting civic engagement and political education within Regina's Muslim
community. We believe that a strong Muslim voter turnout is essential to
ensuring our voices are heard at the heart of Regina's civic decision-making.Our
passion lies in empowering Regina's Muslim community. We do this by:

Encouraging voter participation: We strive to get out the vote in Regina's Civic
elections, ensuring our community has a powerful presence at the polls.
Educating voters: We provide clear, unbiased information on the issues and
candidates, so you can cast an informed vote. Creating a platform for Muslim
voices: We believe your voice matters. We create spaces for open dialogue and
advocacy, ensuring our community's needs and concerns are represented.

SERVICES

The Muslim community in Saskatchewan, including Regina, has seen significant
growth over the past decade. This growth brings opportunities as well as
challenges, such as the need for more community spaces and services.

 * Encouraging Muslims to actively participate in the political process beyond
   just voting.
 * Motivating every Muslim member of our community to exercise their right to
   vote and specifically consider Muslim candidates.
 * Organize educational programs about the election process.
 * Hosting workshops and training sessions on civic engagement and leadership.
 * Creating mentorship opportunities with experienced community leaders.
 * Promote youth participation in local government.
