Since you are holding Credit For Future Tours (CFFT) with Costsaver, we wanted

Thank you for your patience while we contacted Costsaver.

We had a Costsaver agent look through their call records, and they also were
unable to locate any phone calls from you. As we have no record of our team
advising that you are able to cancel at loss of deposit, we do have to follow
their updated terms and conditions. At the moment, Costsaver is not able to
offer any refunds for travelers with postponed or cancelled tours, and they are
instead offering a credit on file. We are currently looking into this option for
you, and we will revert back once we have further information.

The way the credit would work is that we would hold your funds on file and they
could be used to book any Costsaver tour which starts by December 31st, 2022
with Costsaver.

We will be in touch shortly with further clarification.

Hello Jason,

We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with CostSaver's Terms & Conditions.
We understand that it might cause some inconvenience and frustration, especially
in these hard times.

The cancellation fee is not a financial reward for TourRadar. We actually don't
get to keep that money. The money goes to CostSaver to cover their
administration fees and any expenses related to the booking. Please understand
that TourRadar is contractually bounded to the decisions of the tour operator.
We can liaise with the operator, but we can't make them do anything.

We will follow up with CostSaver again on Monday to check with their team if the
cancellation fees could be reduced and credited to your account instead of
losing them.

Please note that their decision will be final and we will action it accordingly.

I can't accommodate this request. My computer and phone are owned by the company
I work for and both have security firewalls preventing me from sending the
screenshot. My wife works for the same company and my youngest doesn't have a
phone (oldest is at college). I don't have any other devices to meet your
request.

All this back and forth has clouded the issue. I cancelled my trip on day 59 and
if I had cancelled the trip on day 60, the refund would have been honored. All I
am requesting is a little leniency. It's not like I cancelled the day before the
trip. We're talking about a few hours. It's a technicality. TourRadar is already
getting $800 out of me for doing almost nothing. Isn't that enough?

open on our side and we are working on it.

We have made a full investigation here with a team lead trying to find your call
on the February 20th, at 10:32AM CST but we couldn't locate anything from your
number 8156546787 on that day.

TourRadar and Costsaver are partners and we do the customer support for them but
they are still two different companies.

Are you sure you called TourRadar and not Costsaver? Can you send us a
screenshot from your phone showing the call with the date, time and number
called?

According to the logs, there are no calls in February from you and you called us
once before booking.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and to receive your screenshot to
solve this case for you!

Is someone still researching my claim? Not to put the burden on you, but it took
me years to save up for this vacation. I'm sure there are people who book
European vacations using one paycheck but that's not how it was for me.
Forfeiting $800 is going to hurt. I can't afford to lose $1,800. Please don't
use a pandemic to screw people out of their money

confirm the number that you used to contact us? We could not find anything under
815-997-3513 for those dates.

We also had a look through our message history and we noticed that you advised
on March 25 that you "spoke with an agent at Costsaver when COVID first started
and the associate verified I needed to cancel by March 24th". The number you
referenced in your last email was the TourRadar number, but if the phone call in
question was with a Costsaver representative, we will not have access to those
recordings.

Hi Jason,

We're reaching out with unfortunate news today. Due to the unprecedented impact
of COVID-19 Costsaver has been adapting their booking conditions and
cancellation policy regularly in response to the constantly evolving nature of
this new pandemic.

Today, Costsaver has updated their policy again to come into effect immediately.
Costsaver has made the difficult but necessary decision to suspend all tour
departures until 30th of June 2020. This affects Britain and Ireland Delight
(Summer, 10 Days) departing on May 22nd, 2020.

The good news is that Costsaver will give you a credit of 100% of the amount you
paid to use towards a future tour. You don’t need to choose a new tour now, but
you can use the credit Costsaver is allowing you to choose any future
alternative departure date or tour which starts by December 31st, 2022 with
Costsaver. If there is a difference in tour costs, you'll need to pay the
difference.

When you're ready to apply your credit, search for available tours that
Costsaver is running and find the tour you’d like to book. Take note of the tour
name and tour ID. Then reach out here on your booking page and mention the tour
ID.

We really appreciate what a difficult time this is, and thank you for your

Thank you for looking further into my case. I know you are swamped so I thought
doing research might speed up the process. I went through my phone looking for
844-311-3006 and the recording you are searching for occurred on Thursday,
February 20th. It started at 10:32AM CST and lasted 1 hour, 3 minutes.
Obviously, the bulk of that was spent on hold. I hope this helps

When Europe went on lockdown in February, I called TourRadar. The representative
told me to hold off on cancelling until March 24th. Please check the recordings.
I understand that you're trying to do your job but what you're doing in this
situation is financially punishing someone that has done everything the company

That's not true. I started the process of cancelling march 23rd, which is 60
days before the trip. I cannot be held accountable for your company being
backlogged. It's bad enough I am going to have to pay the deposit, i cannot also

Before proceeding, I need you to confirm that I will only be responsible for the
Loss of Deposit. I called Costsaver when COVID first started and the associate
verified I needed to cancel by March 24th

be applied:
Over 60 days: Loss of deposit
59 - 16 days: 30%
15 - 8 days: 50%
7 - 1 days: 90%
Departure day or later / no show: 100%

these terms or would prefer to book a new tour/date with Trafalgar or CostSaver
instead.

In accordance with travel restrictions imposed by government advisories
worldwide, CostSaver has temporarily suspended all guided vacations across the
globe for trips departing up and until 30 April 2020.

For guests with existing bookings departing from 1 May 2020 (and more than 30
days from today), or for any new bookings being made, we are temporarily
offering a fee waiver on the land portion of the trip until 30 days prior to
departure should guests wish to change their dates or travel to a different
destination. Airlines may have different policies and penalty charges, which are
the guest’s responsibility.

Please be assured that the tour operator is closely monitoring the situation and
will provide any updates or changes as soon as they are confirmed. In the
meantime, for more information, we strongly recommend checking our Travel Advice
