OUR STORY

I still remember the first time that Shawna and I hung out together.

It was at Cypress Park during a charter school baseball game.

When I arrived at the park with a friend, I saw Shawna by the top of the
bleachers with one of her friends, and I thought she didn't see me.

Instead of walking up to her, I pretended like I didn't see her and sat down
with my friend further away.

After a few minutes she called me and asked me what was I doing not coming to
sit by her and that's when I was forced to man up!

I vividly remember walking up the bleachers, sitting down to the left of her,
turning my head to my right and looking at her from a view of her profile and
thinking to myself, wow this girl is beautiful! That nose ring!

Long story short, it's no surprise that Shawna had to be the man in that
situation...and nothing has changed ever since for 14 years now :D

We've been fortunate enough to grow up together and our love has continued to
blossom over all these years. It's hard to imagine what life was before we met.

Most will say that this was long overdue, but I believe that all good things
happen in time.

And to be able to marry my best friend and lifelong partner surrounded by our
loved ones in a tropical paradise of a setting sounds like something from a
story book!

To more laughter, love and eternal appreciation for finding one another.
