OUR NEWSROOM

First published in 1881 as the Los Angeles Daily Times, since its inception, The
Times has played a crucial role in the growth of Los Angeles.
The Times grew with the city, losing the word “Daily” in the title, and became
the largest metropolitan newspaper in the country.



In February 1983, I came seeking a job and found instead a career full of
opportunities to learn and grow. I was quickly provided opportunities to advance
to roles with more responsibilities. Through my 36 years with the company, I’ve
progressively grown as a person, a leader and business entrepreneur. All of this
was possible because of a culture that rewards hard work, supports the
well-being of employees with excellent benefits, champions employee involvement,
