Hey, a penny! Must be my lucky day. Now, you might be wondering, "When's a good
time to change my tire?" And I've been wondering when we get to talk about the
right time to change a tire. Well, it looks like we both hit the jackpot today.
Checking to make sure your tires are in good shape starts with the tread. The
shallower the tread, the closer you are to replacing your tires. Now, here's a
good trick to see if your tread is too shallow.
And all you need is one of these. [penny rings]

Now, take a peek at your tire and find the tread that's been worn down the most.
Then, you take the penny and you place it in the worn-down groove with Lincoln's
head facing down. If you can see old honest Abe's head poking out, it's time to
get yourself a new set of Cooper tires. Next, I'll show you the right way to
make a BLT.
