ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Family-owned businesses are crucial to Greater Baltimore's economy, and that's
why the Baltimore Business Journal is once again honoring the region's best with
its Family-Owned Business Awards.

This event will honor the success and impact of multi-generational businesses
from around the region. We're looking for enterprises that have endured through
multiple generations, have continued to change with the times and that
contribute to the broader community through philanthropy, community service and
more.

Running a family business is no easy task. With these awards, we aim to honor
those companies that are providing an example for other family-owned enterprises
to follow.

Read about last year's honorees here.

Honorees will be recognized at an event September, as well as online and in a
special print edition.

In the space provided below, please tell us in 500 words or less why your family
business deserves this honor.

Requirements

To be considered, businesses must be:

— Based in Greater Baltimore (Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll,
Cecil, Harford and Howard counties)

— Be at least 51% owned by one family

— Have multiple generations involved in company operations

— Demonstrate longevity with at least 15 years in business

Multiple nominations do not increase a company's chance of winning.

Deadline 

The deadline to submit a nomination is midnight on June 14, 2024.
