STUDENT RESOURCES

UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE ADMISSIONS

Intellectually Playful. Kind. Collaborative. Civically Engaged. Globally
Minded. While Tufts students are as multidimensional as the Hill they call home,
these descriptors tend to define our community. Located just five miles outside
of Boston, Tufts values close student-faculty collaboration, unique
interdisciplinary research, and diversities of all kinds. Learn more about our
admissions process, application support, and resources for undocumented
applicants.

investment. Tufts University, School of Engineering, and external programs offer
a number of fellowships and scholarships to help reduce the cost of attendance.

ACADEMICS

The School of Engineering supports students throughout their academic journeys.
With a student-faculty ratio of 9:1 and an average class size of approximately
20, the university provides students the resources of a major research
university with the attention of a liberal arts college. Students are supported
through faculty-student mentorship, a dedicated academic advising team, and
academic resource centers. Learn more about our programs, academic advising
team, and our accommodation resources.

BECOMING AN ANTI-RACIST INSTITUTION

Beginning in 2020, more than 100 students, faculty, and staff worked tirelessly
across five separate workstreams–Institutional Audit and Targeted Action, Campus
Safety and Policing, Public Art, Compositional Diversity, and Equity and
Inclusion–to audit the status quo, identify possible solutions, and make
recommendations. View the recommendations, helpful guides, and the university
dashboard.

CENTER FOR STEM DIVERSITY

Established in 2008, Tufts University's Center for STEM Diversity works in
partnership with the School of Engineering and the School of Arts and Sciences
to foster a diverse and inclusive science and engineering learning environment.

for all undergraduate and graduate students interested in thinking about social
identities and the ways they impact our lives and our world. University
Chaplaincy serves as the hub of religious, spiritual, ethical, and cultural life
for all members of the Tufts community.
