WELCOME TO DOWNTOWN PORTLAND!

A hotbed of innovation and economic growth. A center of culture and creativity.
A gathering place for Portlanders and visitors. Downtown Portland — one of the
city’s most welcoming and lively areas — packs a whole lot of personality into a
diverse, dynamic and energizing hub.

The Downtown Portland Clean & Safe District collaborates with local businesses,
residents and community groups to provide the essential services that help our
city thrive. By working together, we ensure this 213-block area in the city
center remains a vibrant meeting place to shop, dine, explore and live.

DOWNTOWN PORTLAND CLEAN & SAFE SERVICES


Clean community

Our cleaning crew keeps the heart of our city clean seven days a week, sweeping
sidewalks, removing graffiti, picking up litter and pressure washing throughout
the district.


Safe neighborhood

Our safety team resolve conflicts and provide enhanced safety in the downtown
core. Their visible presence, close collaboration with Portland Police and quick
response time help keep everyone safe.


Local knowledge

Our ambassadors are eager to share just what makes this neighborhood unique,
whether you’re looking for restaurant recommendations, insight into local
history or a shop for a perfectly Portland souvenir.
