SALARY: $17.00 PER HOUR

JOB DESCRIPTION

THE MACHINE OPERATOR WILL FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND QUALITY PROCEDURES AND IS
PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR PERFORMING QUALITY CHECKS AT PRE-DETERMINED INTERVALS
ON ALL PRODUCTS PRODUCED AND PACKING OF FINISHED PRODUCT ACCORDING TO JOB
SPECIFICATIONS.



REQUIREMENTS

- Individuals who can tolerate being on their feet all day. Individuals who are
not intimidated by large machines within a manufacturing environment.

– Also: Refer to Job Competencies outlined on the Job Description – Candidates
must be able to use a ruler / compare various envelope measurements to Job
Specs.

- Those individuals who are highly mechanical/mechanically inclined have the
opportunity to advance, through training, into higher-level machine positions
(Utility, Machine Adjuster).


The average tenure is 13 years; 37% of employees have been employed over 15
years.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL TRABAJO

El operador de máquina seguirá todos los procedimientos de seguridad y es,
principalmente, responsable de realizar controles de calidad en intervalos
predeterminados en todos los productos producidos y su empaque, según estén
terminados, de acuerdo con las especificaciones del trabajo.


REQUISITOS

- Individuos que toleren estar de pie todo el día y que no se sientan
intimidados por las grandes máquinas en un entorno de fabricación.

- Además: Los candidatos deben ser capaces de utilizar una regla y comparar
varias medidas de los sobres con las especificaciones del puesto.

- Aquellos que tengan una gran inclinación por la mecánica, tendrán la
oportunidad de avanzar, a través de la formación, hacia puestos de máquinas de
mayor nivel (utilitario, ajustador de máquinas).


La permanencia media es de 13 años; el 37% de los empleados lleva más de 15
años.
