Posted in Parish Council | Leave a Comment » NHS SURVEY ON HOSPITAL WAITING TIMES July 13, 2021 by lackfordclerk The NHS is asking people to complete a survey on NHS waiting times. Dear local authority community team partners, Since the COVID-19 pandemic, NHS services across the UK have had to care for large numbers of critically ill people infected with the virus. This has led to longer delays for people on waiting lists for hospital services, with five million people now waiting for treatment in England for the first time. The East of England is no exception with over 500,000 now on a waiting list. We have been working with regional NHS leaders to develop a local survey to gage the general public’s views on ways to address extended waiting list for operations caused by the pandemic. We are really keen to get a diverse and representative response to this survey so would like to request colleagues working with groups across the region disseminate the link to the survey via their bulletins and or social media channels so that we can reach out to as many people as possible. Please follow this link to complete the survey. The survey will be open until 23 July 2021. We estimate this poll will take no more than 10 mins to complete and the results will help to inform strategy moving forward. Please note the responses will be anonymous. Thank you for taking the time to help us understand local needs. Of course very happy to answer any questions that you might have too.
