New Yorkers move faster than other people — but even we need to sit now and
then. Some of us are older, with bad backs; some have disabilities; some are
parents with young kids; and many of us just want to rest our feet. It’s a
message that the people in charge of our public spaces need to hear loud and
clear, because often those spaces go to great lengths to deny people decent ways
to take a load ...
