CHICAGOLAND SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE (2023-2024)

2/500 Kits Collected 1%

HERE’S TO ANOTHER AMAZING YEAR!

We were able to collect 252 school supply kits last year, but we’re still far
from done! This year, lets work towards 500!! Every donation matters! Keep an
eye out for your name in the donors list for 2023-2024!

(This drive will run through August 10, 2023. All supplies collected will be
donated to Multiple Chicagoland schools between August 11 – August 15, 2023)




THE PROBLEM

School supplies play a critical role in child development and learning, yet the
responsibility to get these supplies lies heavily on teachers, ” In a survey by
Scholastic, an educational publishing and media company, principals were found
to have spent an average of $683 of their own money, while teachers spent $530
on average (on school supplies) – and teachers in high-poverty neighborhood
schools spent nearly 40 percent more than that”(npr.org). Join us in our mission
to provide 1000 school supply kits for Chicagoland schools this summer!

(This drive will run through August 15, 2022. All supplies collected will be
donated to Multiple Chicagoland schools between August 16 – August 31, 2022)
