Every day, National Foundation for Transplants helps to save lives by removing financial barriers that delay or prevent organ transplantation within the United States. We focus on providing fundraising expertise and advocacy for patients in need of an organ transplant; serving as a program resource for health care professionals; promoting organ and tissue donation; and supporting innovative solutions for lifesaving treatments. Your donation goes to support our Greatest Need fund and will be used to provide critical services and support to transplant patients like providing housing, transportation, food, or prescription drugs. There are three key areas that highlight the many ways we help patients and their families navigate the organ transplant journey: MEMBER SERVICES Education, collaboration and person-to-person support are key to navigating the transplant journey successfully. We’ve helped thousands of people, and we’re here to help you. If you are an organ transplant patient, and are in need of financial assistance, we are here to help! The first step is to fill out our member application at https://patients.transplants.org/ or to reach out to us at info@transplants.org to learn more or if you need assistance. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE Affording a transplant (and its pre- and post-op expenses) is challenging – even with the best insurance. We help patients and their families fill the financial gaps. Without these campaigns created on behalf of NFT and donations made to those campaigns, we would not be able to support patient's through these trying financial hardships. TRANSPLANT PARTNERSHIPS We have highly productive, time-tested relationships with the nation’s top transplant centers. Together, we work to ensure every patient has access to financial resources. Rest assured your financial support will provide help to a patient like Paul Macyauski whose story is the story of any patient seeking a second chance at life. All campaigns created and donations made are on behalf of National Foundation for Transplants.
