The grant recipients work to create socioeconomic opportunities for women, empower women to resist violence, encourage female students to study STEM subjects, and educate women from minority groups about their rights. The Israeli recipients were selected through a grant competition facilitated by Matan-United Way and the American grant recipients through a grant competition facilitated by the Jewish Funders Network.
