UPDATE FROM WRC ON CORONAVIRUS

7/21/2020

We hope you are well and safe. Our first priority at Women’s Resource Center is
the safety and well-being of our participants, staff, volunteers, and community
partners.

Although WRC has suspended all on-site programming, our office has reopened. We
are closely following CDC guidelines and have put procedures in place to protect
staff and guests.

We will continue to offer coaching and mentor appointments and training
opportunities virtually. Our team remains ready and dedicated to serve women who
are in crisis or who are seeking employment. Please call 616-458-5443 for
support or questions on in-person appointment protocols.

APPOINTMENT REQUIRED TO DROP-OFF CLOTHING DONATIONS

To abide by safety precautions, clothing donations are now accepted by
appointment only. We will not accept donations without an appointment. We’ll
also ask you to complete a pre-screen phone call before arriving. Please click
here to view all clothing donation procedures.

We truly appreciate you supporting WRC and the women we are honored to serve!

A MESSAGE FROM OUR BOARD CHAIR

Our Chief Executive Officer, Sandra Gaddy, has accepted the leadership role at
Grand Rapids Community Foundation. Sandra has been instrumental to the
revitalization of WRC in her seven years of service. From expansion of services
provided to women in need, to the organization’s capital campaign and new
building, she has guided us with passion and professionalism. We wish Sandra
well in her new position.

We have already initiated our search for a new Chief Executive Officer. During
this transition period, the Executive Committee of our board has asked our
Program Director, Michelle Bryk, and Director of Development & Communications,
Tatum Hawkins, to manage day-to-day operations at WRC. The Executive Committee
will handle administrative and executive level issues. Any questions or issues
should be addressed to Michelle, Tatum or me.

Though transitions can be challenging, our commitment to our mission is
unwavering. The services and counsel we deliver to women in need will continue
without interruption.

Roya Bruce
Chair, Board of Directors
Women’s Resource Center
