all those sights into one trip. The staff was great and so were the coaches. I
loved the variety of places we visited. You made it a really family experience."

Sidney Mayers (New York)

"We are the champions, we are the champions. no time for losers, cause we are
the champions! It was truly such an honor to play with SAWUSA and to represent
the USA on the lacrosse field. This was really an experience of a lifetime, and
a trip I will never forget. The gold medal feels great, but the friendships I’ve
made have been ones that could and will continue on for years ahead."

Christina Devito , Mother of Mathias Devito, (Arizona)

All parties from staff to traveling help were amazing. Everyone felt very safe
and comfortable. The experience was definitely one-of-a-kind and the
relationships built there in a short period of time are lasting. The athletic
games were a blast. Price was worth it. We had a great time and enjoyed the
experience.

Julie Erickson, Mother of Ian Erickson (Georgia)

"We had a great time. Ian loved it. He really enjoyed meeting new friends and
seeing new places. This was a great experience for Ian. He loved making new

Netherlands!"

"What an incredible experience this turned out to be. It actually exceeded our
expectations. Jody was terrific, readily available, quick to assist, reliable
and capable. The tour guides were on point. Coach Morrison not only helped mesh
9 boys that did not know each other but did so with calm, grace and purpose.
Michele and I would like to thank you and your staff for providing us with a
fantastic experience that enabled Frank to meet new friends and compete against
players from around the world. Thank you."

friends. Can't wait to go again in 2023.

Barbara Parkerton, Mother of Brandt Parkerton (California)

"Spectacular experience! Thank you again for including my son, Brandt, and
myself on this whirlwind trip. It is such an honor to be a part of this amazing
group of people that we now call our friends. The opportunity to meet so many
people, be introduced to so many cultures and to see the beauty and feel the
history of them. To feel the heat and comradeship in competition. Somewhere
along this ride we became better and different people. We went to play ball and
got so much more! This was one of the best experiences of our lives! Thank you
STUDENTathleteWorld!"

Alyssa Morroni (Virginia)

"I had so much fun. It was the trip of a lifetime.  Our leader Katrina was so
fun, I hated to leave her. We had just enough time in each place, I am glad I
was able to see so much during the trip. The best part was meeting people from
all over the World and experiencing different cultures."

Jayneisha Davis (Pennsylvania)

"Thank you so much for the opportunity. This experience I cannot even put into
words but it was something that I will definitely cherish forever. I will keep
in touch and once again thank you for everything."

Katie Ambrose (Missouri)

"Going to the United World Games is one of the greatest experiences a person
could ever have. My teammates and I won gold at the games and it is an
experience that I will never forget. The highlight of my summer would most
definitely be playing with the SaWUSA. The girls on my team were awesome and
they made me laugh a lot. None of us had played together before, yet we played
together like we known each other forever. We beat Serbia in the championship
game to win the gold and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Winning
the gold medal was by far the best, but the trip was also intended to be a
cultural experience. We were able to interact and play against players from
other countries and visit the countries of Germany, Austria and Italy. I really
enjoyed our day trip to Venice, Italy. I’m only 13 and it’s crazy to think I
have played overseas already!"

Kendal Wallace (Georgia)

I was very fortunate to be selected as one of the coaches for The United World
Games that takes place in Austria. WHAT AN AMAZING TRIP!! The trip was first
class. Our first stop was Venice, Italy for a day. Great food, gondola ride
through the canals, and a tour of candy making and glass blowing. We then
traveled to Austria. What a beautiful country and very nice people. This is
where the UWG were held. Knowing that we were representing the USA in these
games gave me a strong sense of pride! Several of our athletes and coaches were
able to walk in the opening parade and carry the American Flag! What a feeling.
All in all, I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who has the
opportunity. Hotel accommodations, tour guides, food, and sights were all 1st
Class! And with all that you will play the sport you love and see the world!
STUDENTathleteWorld is a top-notch organization run by ethical and caring people
who know sports! Sign up TODAY! The trip was overall fantastic. Jody was the
glue that kept everything together and she made everyone relaxed and ready to
roll. The kids enjoyed the experience! The uniforms were great. Hotels, meals,
and travel all were exceptional. The sightseeing was good. The gondola ride
through Venice was great. I would highly recommend this trip to any coach or
potential player and would welcome the thought of doing this again in the
future! What I loved most about the trip was the relationships that were built
from the experience. I am now great friends with each of the coaches that went
on the trip with me. I also have seen 3-4 of the players that went on the trip
with us and we were all very excited to see one another. One athlete is actually
coming to LaGrange College in the fall.

Deana Pender, Mother of Zachary Cortright (California)

"Thank you we had a great time. We will never forget this experience. What a
wonderful time! So many great memories of the places we saw and the people we
met."

Jeremy Heath (Texas)

"Thanks so much for having me! You made my mom and I's summer and we had a great
time! I will certainly stay in touch!"

Nicole Lindsay (Austria)

Amazing team to work with! Service from A to Z - always quick responding to any
questions or concerns. Highly professional and knowledgeable in what they're
doing. Would recommend the experience to anyone!

Beth Balbierz (California)

"Thanks so much for the opportunity! The trip was really fun and I'm so
grateful! I followed the rest of the trips via Facebook and seemed like a
successful summer."

Bridget Cox (Michigan)

"I went with SAWUSA to Spain and Portugal for a lacrosse tournament and it was
UNREAL everyone was so nice and I loved everyone on the team (plus it helped
that we won every game— and some were hard games!). I put SO much energy into
the games, and it really paid off! Even without playing this past spring, I
still was able to play really well and be just as, if not even MORE unhinged
than I already am (I’m so sad we didn’t get video of my celebrations—
cartwheels, splits, handstands, etc.). We also toured through a BUNCH of cities
like Seville, Lisbon, Sintra, etc., and all the walking definitely made my
calves buff. I could go on but I’d be saying the same thing over and over: this
trip was a BLAST. Thank you SO MUCH SAWUSA for inviting me into this trip,
especially since I knew the other goalie, @jozetterimkus. I loved everyone on
the trip and I hope everyone has a great rest of the summer!"

Claudia Cogan, Mother of Phoebe Cogan (South Carolina)

"Phoebe said it was an experience of a lifetime and she had an amazing time. She
loved meeting new people and exploring countries she has never been to."

Delissa McCray, Mother of Parris Rawls (Texas)

"Parris and I are still in awe of the great time we had last summer. This was an
awesome educational and social experience for my daughter. My favorite part of
the trip was the United World Games, and the sightseeing. We are planning for
both of our daughters to travel with SaWUSA next summer. I would recommend
anyone who was able to go, and wanted to give their daughter the experience of
playing overseas."

Regan Miller (North Dakota)

I had an absolute blast! Our tour guides and coaches were both amazing! This
trip will definitely leave a huge positive impact on my life. If I hadn’t have
taken this opportunity I wouldn’t have met the amazing people I did! Big shout
out to our women’s lax coach for always making sure we were doing ok. My
favorite part of the trip was meeting new people and playing in the tournament!

Kathy Finnell-Hopkins, Mother of Giavonni Hopkins (Missouri)

"Great experience and opportunity for students and parents. Definitely recommend
others to do it! Your staff did an awesome job throughout the process. They were
accessible and responsive; making the process simple and smooth. Silas was
OUTSTANDING! He was professional, courteous, pleasant, entertaining, funny and
kept us on point. Coach Mathis was AWESOME as an individual and coach! In 2
practices, she took 8 complete strangers and transformed them into a cohesive
competitive gold medal worthy team. She is a SaW keeper! In fact, her team is
plotting to go back next year! It was definitely safe & comfortable. The
breakfasts and accommodations were great! It was great meeting and experiencing
everything with such an awesome group of people. We had a GREAT group!! And we
had GREAT Coaches, guide, and even our bus driver was wonderful!"

Laura Sartori (Michigan)

"Thanks to SAWUSA we met some wonderful people and made lifetime friendships
while on this tour."

Connor Goulet (Arizona)

"One of the greatest experiences ever, will definitely come back next year and
I'll be ready to hoop."

Cassandra Thrower, Mother of Elijah Thrower (Alabama)

"This trip was one our family will remember the rest of our lives! Elijah met so
many new friends from his team and other countries! From the gondola ride in
Venice to the salt mines, castle, and knight's dinner in Austria, we will
forever cherish this trip. Coach T was awesome! We hope every family can
experience this at least once in a lifetime!"

Crystal Bass, Mother of Kayana Bass (Washington)

"The overall experience was amazing! The staff were engaged and helpful, which
is amazing in itself because of so many people to keep happy. The planning was
well thought out. The experience for my daughter to compete against other
countries was something she will treasure for a lifetime! The opening ceremony
and sightseeing are special memories. To play in the United World Games was an
experience of a lifetime and the friends and memories my daughter made will
forever be cherished. Her teammates were amazing and so supportive of each
other. Their bond they’ve made showed on and off the court! KK was so proud to
represent the USA and help earn a silver medal."

Mikyla McGhee (California)

"It was a wonderful trip and want to go back next year. I want to play for the
same team and also the same coach. It was a wonderful experience."

Monica Smith (Illinois)

My son Julius and I had an amazing experience in Spain and Portugal this summer
with SaWUSA! We instantly bonded with teammates and parents, which really made
the trip very memorable. Coach Jamie was very personable and did a great job
coaching the boys to an undefeated championship, bringing home the gold medal!
We would definitely like to go again next year!

Heather LaBree (Montana)

"Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. It was the most amazing
experience with the best people and coaches and it will forever change my life.
It opened our eyes up to the World and to basketball. This is an amazing
organization. Seeing all the amazing places in Europe was fun, but not as much
fun as meeting all of these amazing people. We were a little hesitant at first,
but now we are best friends. I cant wait until we meet up again in the future.
Thank you for everything. You are all amazing."

Joyce Miller, Grandmother of of Mitchell Glass (Illinois)

"I really enjoyed accompanying my grandson on this trip. It is something we will
remember for a lifetime. We enjoyed making new friends from many different
locations in the USA. Coach Hutchings was terrific. It was fantastic how quickly
he was able to put together a competitive team. Good chemistry! Our uniforms
were awesome. The competition and the games were wonderful. Getting to see the
special places we visited was definitely a plus. I always felt safe."

Maegan Bandimere (Arkansas)

"I had an amazing time overseas. I am so blessed to have met the people that I
met on the trip. I can't believe it's all over. This trip taught me a lot....how
to trust teammates when you just met two days ago, how to be responsible when
it's only you making decisions for yourself, and how to handle things that you
don't have control over, but still have to deal with. I'm gonna miss you guys,
and we need to get together soon! I really enjoyed sightseeing. It was
incredible experiencing new things! Coach Matthys was awesome! Loved her style
of coaching."

Doug and Linda Conway Hensley, Parents of Izzy Hensley (Ohio)

"Izzy had an amazing experience and fabulous time (the rest of the family did,
too), and we’d love to repeat it. Thanks again for the opportunity! We miss
everyone so much and will always treasure this experience! Izzy is still in
touch with her teammates, and I am sure some long lasting friendships were
made."

Tom Catanoso (New Jersey)

"Thank you very much it was a great experience and am appreciative of the
opportunity. It was a great time and I made some relationships I think will last
for a while!"

Jayneisha Davis (Pennsylvania)

"I just wanted to tell you thank you for giving me the opportunity to play
overseas this summer. I've learned so much from being there. It was truly an
experience I will never forget. Thanks again."

Colton Carrier (Nebraska)

"It was a great experience, some of the best things besides basketball was some
spontaneous moments with my teammates where we all laughed. The players party
and opening ceremony had great environments that I won’t forget. The sports
experience was amazing and being able to play against different competition was
great. The coaches and teammates made the experience a lot better. Sightseeing
was great. The whole experience was overall great and gave me good memories and
made new friends."

Dakota Overton (Georgia)

"Thank you for this invitation! It was honored to be on this wonderful team! I
had a lot of fun with this team! Thank you again!!"

Ruth Broos, Mother of Emily and Ashley Broos (Arizona)

"We want to thank STUDENTathleteWorld for a wonderful experience. We arrived in
Boston not knowing anyone. We are departing Europe with friends from across the
country. Our last day in Austria and Germany was a blast. The Salt Mine is
incredible. An opportunity of a lifetime for many to enjoy."

Emmi Stuart (Illinois)

"The trip was very educational and definitely a great experience. I enjoyed the
glass factory tour and the salt mine tour. The SaW Tours all seem to be filled
with fun and also hard work leading up to the games. A great overall
organization with great ideas for tourist events."

Caprice Miller, Mother of Jeremiah Miller (Maryland)

"With everything we saw, did, and experienced, I am surprised that we did not
pay more. The price was fabulous! SaW did an OUTSTANDING job with this trip. We
felt safe, comfortable, entertained, and did I say safe. Everyone (Tour Leaders,
Delegation Managers - Lukas, and Coaches) made this trip comfortable and safe.
At no time did I feel worried or concerned during the trip. It was awesome! I
enjoyed every bit of it! And, yes, I feel that we were immersed in the places we
visited. Also, I enjoyed the free-time. The hotels were great an the meals
wonderful (another parent and I were trying to get recipes). The sales and
payment process was neither confusing nor difficult. Considering the amount of
money transmitted between my family and SaW, I would say it was effortless. The
best part was meeting all those wonderful people. I also enjoyed watching the
boys interact with one another. They had a good time. I haven't stop talking
about the trip since I got home."

Jake Butler (California)

"It was truly an experience of a lifetime!"

Melissa Wiedemeier, Mother of Austin Wiedemeier (Wisconsin)

A big thank you to STUDENTathleteWorld (SaWUSA), Tim Ryerson, Jody Burrows, Greg
Blythe, Bernard Smith, Coach Campbell and all the other coaches for making the
United World Games experience life-changing.  Austin and I just got back from
the most amazing 10 days in Austria, Germany and Italy. The trip centered around
the largest amateur sports competition in Europe with 30 countries and 13 sports
participating. While the basketball experience was fantastic for so many
reasons, Austin will tell you it was about so much more than basketball. It was
an opportunity to meet new players from all over the US, meet players from other
countries, learn new playing styles/coaching styles, expand his outlook on and
appreciation for other parts of the world, create excitement for global travel
and keeping those new connections made at the games. The kids on his team were
wonderful, lifelong friendships made. The family members that traveled along
with their players were just as wonderful. Prior to the trip, Tim was very
responsive with any questions that we had. Our tour leader, Ana, was fantastic.
The 19u coaches were wonderful. Great people that made the trip fun,
light-hearted. Our coach did a great job with the team... getting to know the
kids, adjusting when needed, keeping them accountable, and putting things into
perspective, all with a sense of humor that put the kids at ease. The
excursions/sightseeing we did with this trip was wonderful, of course we would
have loved to stay longer and see more. For the amount of time we had, I felt we
packed in what we could given the size of the group. I always felt safe. I would
recommend this experience, for sure. Watching Austin's wings expand with every
day of the trip- meeting new people, his excitement for meeting people from
other countries, the fun he had at the players party, the fun he had on the
shuttle bus with other teams when they would sing and cheer. Definitely worth
it. And for sure an experience of a lifetime.

Deonice Martin, Mother of Amari Martin (Tennessee)

In my opinion everything was on point and very laid out for the athletes and the
families/travelers. Really had a great time and experience!! Would definitely do
it again!! I just loved the whole experience of being in other countries and
really took in the local culture and meeting new lifelong friends! I really
loved the excitement of the parents/ travelers and the athletes during the
opening ceremonies and the actual competition. Experience of a lifetime for me
and my student athlete!!!

Kristi Williams, Mother of Devin Williams (Texas)

“This trip was an amazing experience. If you ever have the chance to participate
or send your child on one do so. We made amazing memories worth every penny. If
you ever have the opportunity to send your child do so. The experience and
friendship gained are well worth it. I would definitely do this again and will
be returning to Klagenfurt one day. Thanks for bringing amazing memories. The
coaches did an amazing job. Thanks for all you did for the kids."

Amani McCrary (California)

"I really enjoyed it and I'm thankful to be able to experience such an amazing
opportunity. I had the time of my life! I would do it all over again. I had a
blast. Met some amazing people. I will for sure be back next year!"

Devin Valles (New York)

"I had a great time it was a blessing and a great experience. You'll definitely
see me next year."

Sandra Empson, Mother of Adam Empson (Alaska)

"Thank you for this awesome opportunity for my child, and the wonderful
experience he received, which will be treasured forever."

Kelsey Long (North Carolina)

"It was a wonderful experience and an amazing trip!! The coaches and trip
leaders were awesome and always on top of everything. I would love to go again.
I'm so glad I was able to travel with SaW this summer. It's been a life changing
experience! Thank you!"

Kelli Douglas, Mother of Jacob Douglas (Florida)

"It was an amazing experience for our family to connect with other athletes and
parents in first time International experiences - Thank you!"

Joey Waz, Father of Samer Waz

"The SaWUSA program made a great impact on my son Samer Waz. When he traveled
with your program, he learned how to be a man away from home. A lifetime
experience that he will never forget. Made great friends throughout the country
and will be meeting them this winter on the snow hills of Montana (snow
boarding) with his former teammates. Thank you again sir."

Amy Keating, Mother of Haylee Keating (Arkansas)

"Thank you so much SaW Tours for allowing Haylee to a part of this amazing
adventure...IT WAS A BLAST!!!!! SUCH AN AMAZING TIME .... MANY MEMORIES AND LIFE
LONG FRIENDS MADE .... AWESOME GROWING EXPERIENCE ..NOT ONLY FOR THE ATHLETES...
BUT THE PARENTS AS WELL. She made amazing new friends not only from the States
but from overseas and learned so much from each and every one of them. We
appreciate everything you have done and the trip. The trip was truly about
growing and experiencing a different way of life and it made me very proud to
see how Haylee handled it, even jumping out of her comfort zone to play for a
team that had different ways of doing things and languages. She has made
lifelong friends and a lifetime of memories. It was a amazing trip ....thank you
so much for everything!!!!!"

Thomas Kerstetter (Pennsylvania)

"I had a great time. Thank you for presenting me with the opportunity."

James Magee (New Hampshire)

Everting was good there was a lot of cool stuff we got to see and do. The
lacrosse games were great and I learned a lot about myself as a player. The
coaches were awesome.

Alex Shaffer (West Virginia)

"Thank you SaWUSA for giving me the opportunity to not only play the game I love
at an international level but to bring home the gold, memories and new friends.
This was the experience of a lifetime and I’m forever grateful."
????????????✈️????❤️????

Richard Irvin (Kentucky)

I want to first thank you for the opportunity and experience! I do feel like the
payment process and communication was excellent. The staff made my family feel
less stressed and pressured when it came to payment arrangements. The tour
guides were amazing. They actually took the time to make sure we understood and
comprehended the importance of their monuments throughout the cities we visited.
The coaches and leaders made sure we stayed in groups and there was always a
chaperone for each group and they gave us enough time to sightsee without having
to rush. They had a great itinerary that helped us enjoy time wisely throughout
the day. The competition was great! They allowed us to adjust to the different
rules while still making it competitive. The coaching staff was awesome, with
the short amount of time they were able to teach the kids some new things they
weren't aware of. They had a limited amount of time but still were able to put
together plays and good defense. I really loved the uniforms the players wore
and T- shirts the parents and staff wore. It was an honor to be able to
represent the United States in such a fashion. The sightseeing was beautiful,
all the events, the tour leaders made sure nothing was left out. We saw it all.
We were able to sleep comfortably in the hotels. The food throughout the whole
trip was scrumptious! The people in the cities made us feel welcome and took the
time to make sure we felt comfortable before we left. Because of the hospitality
alone, I would recommend the beautiful cities of Argentina! What I loved most
was the sightseeing and the connections I was able to make with new people. I
love the way we were able to communicate and learn new things about their
culture. Yes, I feel the price was worth it for the experience. Yes, it was the
experience of a lifetime. There really weren't many mistakes. I feel the
coaching staff stayed on top of everything to make sure we all had a good
experience. Especially Jody! She was awesome!

Hannah Tompkins (Virginia)

"The coaching staff was fantastic. Our tours were wonderful, we saw beautiful
views and fit a lot in during our time. I loved meeting new friends/teammates.
I’ve been keeping in touch with the people I have met and it’s awesome to have
friends around the states. The price was worth it. I loved not having to worry
about hotels, transportation, and sightseeing. Thankful SaW took care of all
those details and I was able to enjoy my trip, play ball and have fun with my
new friends. It was an awesome experience and definitely a trip of a lifetime!"

Logan West (Missouri)

"It was definitely a trip of a lifetime! I met lots of cool people over there.
I'm actually still in touch with a few of the boys from the Netherlands that we
played against!"

Amy Hammond, Mother of Chris Hammond (California)

"This was an amazing basketball program and we will return without doubt for
future basketball trips. Coach Jake Otkin is amazing, both as a coach and as a
trip leader. He took unflagging care of our boys. I would travel anywhere in the
world with him and would send my boy under his care without question. I would
never exchange the basketball part of this experience for anything in the world,
and overall we are so glad we went. Winning the EuroCup was the experience of a
lifetime. The Team USA part was fantastic."

Emma Driscoll (New York)

"Thank you for giving me such a great opportunity!!"

Maureon Tisdale-Couch (Virginia)

"It was the best experience ever. I loved everything about the trip. The price
was worth it. The experience was unbelievable and it was the experience of a
lifetime and one that I’m glad that I got a chance to experience. I wouldn't
change a thing and I would love to go again next year."

Ashley Hammel (Washington)

What I loved most about the trip was the people I met there, I had more fun on
the tours and during the tournament because I made a bunch of friends to share
it with. I think the price was definitely worth it, because it was the
experience of a lifetime for me. Everything was absolutely amazing! I really had
a blast and the staff was really easy to talk to.

LaDawn Carls (Texas)

"It was an honor representing the USA and Texas. I really enjoyed the trip and
the experience and the life-long relationships I formed with everyone.  I would
love to attend another trip next year. The best part was bonding with my team at
the games and the lake."

Chris Hamilton (Nebraska)

“Overall, one of the best trips I've ever been on for a multitude of reasons.  I
can't say enough good things about the staff and other coaches.  I left this
trip with new friendships that go beyond the game and share similar visions on
what's right about youth and college basketball. I am so grateful I got to be a
part of it.“

DaeShawn Beasley (Ohio)

"Thank you! I appreciate the opportunity the travel the world and play the sport
I love. One of the teams we competed against offered me a contract so it was a
productive datehookup login."

Savannah Smith (Illinois)

Everything was great I really loved the trip and meeting people from all around
the world. The best part of the trip was winning, and traveling out of the US
for the first time. The price was definitely worth it, and it is very much and
will always be an experience of a lifetime for me.

Amy Royal, Mother of Dylan Royal (Massachusetts)

"The best part of the trip is being able to compete abroad against other
countries. My son's passion is basketball. In being selected to play on the
SaWUSA basketball team, he had the experience of a lifetime. Having the
opportunity to play internationally and compete against other countries was
incredible for him. Coach Jake is incredible. The way he is able to get the team
to play as a team with only a few short practices is amazing. Many coaches are
not able to do that over an entire season. Coach Jake knows how to bring the
team together, get them to work as a unit, and win."

all. Cat and Paul had an amazing time and will never forget it. Thanks for a

"That was an experience of a lifetime!! If anyone gets the opportunity, TAKE
IT!! As a parent of an athlete, we were amazed that he was able to have this
life enriching experience. Very few people get an opportunity like this in their
lives and we will be forever grateful that we were able to share it with him.
This trip will be something he will look back on his whole life with fondness
and the significance of this trip will undoubtedly influence his life decisions.
There were so many positives on this trip, it is hard to pinpoint one specific

will never regret it! Thank you SaWUSA for this amazing opportunity!!"

opportunity."

experience and a fun trip! Looking forward to next year!"

Brandon Huntley (Washington)

"This trip was a life changing experience. Having a chance to see different
cultures, meet so many wonderful people, and competing for our country is
something I will never forget. We had so much fun during our time in Europe. I
can't wait to go back! Going to the opening ceremonies was so much fun. Going to

lifetime experience and seeing Salzburg. Your staff was very helpful and his
communication through everything made this a smooth trip."

Dominique Carreker, Mother of John Carreker (Georgia)

"Coach Quin was awesome with the team and very responsible to our needs. Susanna
was great! She managed all of our requests with a smile. Overall the sightseeing
was great. I enjoyed the events that we participated in. The breakfast at the
hotels was outstanding. The Venice restaurant was the BEST. Austria was not on
my wish list to visit but now that I have, I am glad I did. To live in "Bob
Ross" was exceptional and I will visit again and again. What I enjoyed most was
watching my son engage in this experience. The price seemed to be reasonable."

Elexi Boladian (Michigan)

"This was a trip that I will remember for the rest of my life; the best
experience ever. What I loved most was going on the tours and seeing new things
and eating all kinds of new foods. One thing that I was so surprised about that
was so cool to me was our local helper Pedro. He was so nice and taught me a lot
about his culture that I do not think I would ever learn any other way."

Scott Marshall, Father of Julius Marshall (Pennsylvania)

"The entire experience as a whole, I'd give a 5 Star. First and foremost, I
believe the kids had the time of their lives. I believe they all have made
connections that will last beyond the trip. I met some great parents and some
new friends. I believe the coaches did a great job with both teams. Having only
two days to gel the teams together is asking a lot and they beat that beast. The
staff (Mike, Gerald and Melvin) did an excellent job; made the trip simple and
easy to enjoy. They were very personable, easy and open to conversation. The
tour guides Karen, Suzanna and the bus driver Addis, a great crew, friendly
crew. Kept everyone on point and on schedule. As a whole, the staff did an
amazing job ensuring plans were scheduled, bus routes were distributed. Pretty
much stress free trip. Mike is an amazing Leader. Had an amazing time with him.
Hope he gets his well due rest. There is a lot of stress in dealing with such an
event and responsibility. He handled it like a Pro's Pro! Gerald was our coach,
SAWUSA EAST! Excellent communicator, Excellent coach. Upfront and honest about
his expectations and commitments. Love his coaching style, always teaching.
Great percent of coaches today don't teach basketball, that is not an issue with
Coach Gerald. Communication was grade A. As a parent on the East, I appreciate
his efforts as a mentor and coach!!! I had limited time with Melvin, but the
time I was I was in his presence, very down to earth guy, coach. Love his energy
on the court. Excellent teacher of the game. I don't believe safety was ever an
issue. We always traveled in groups. When we were not in large groups, we
operated by the buddy system. The athletic competition was better than i thought
it would be. Loved the uniforms. Loved the sightseeing. The destinations, we
enjoyed very much. Those memories will never be forgotten. Do wish we could have
had more time in Venice but we did enjoy ourselves for the time we had. The
hotels were very nice, clean, great breakfasts and for the size of the beds,
they were quite comfy. What I loved most about the trip was my son had an
amazing time. His first time out of the country, we are all hoping to attend
again, this time with the wife. For the first time experience, the price was
worth the experience."

Jessica Sloan-Cooper (Illinois)

10/10 love. Such an amazing experience I wish it could’ve been longer. Yes I
felt safe and comfortable! I loved the people I met, most on the trip. This

scholarship and it was definitely the experience of a lifetime.

Zachary Grover (Maine)

"This was the best experience I ever had, I made friends from all over and seen
places I probably wouldn't of experienced in my life.  I had never been out of
the country so I was a little nervous. It was the most amazing places I have
ever seen. The trip was well planned and ran smooth. I loved having Rory Larson
as a coach and really liked the uniforms. I would do it again in a heartbeat."

They give a great opportunity to high school athletes to compete overseas. Not
many kids get this opportunity to see other parts of the world and other types
of competition. They also make it fun by seeing the sites and learning some
history of where you are traveling. This is a great experience.

Bob Hutchings (New Jersey)

"SaWUSA is just a wonderful experience, for so many people . Thank you so much
STUDENTathleteWorld!"

Abe Agundez (Maryland)

The price was so worth it. This is a memory I will cherish forever. I couldn't
fathom something like this coming up for me and it is just a fantastic
experience I would recommend. I loved the Zipline. It was just really good and
simple. I couldn't have asked for much more. The people were really helpful and
they give you a step-by-step guide on how to do things. Plus, it's a really good
service with taking United States athletes overseas. It's an awesome service.

SECOND OF IT.  She even asked if she could do it again next year."

"This was the best trip by far that I have gone on because I got to play
basketball with people from other countries, travel Europe, and make new
friends. I wish it lasted longer! Our delegation manager Katrina was so
energetic and fun. Coach Brandon was great and helped our team bond and play
together. I loved every part of playing against teams from other countries. It
was a great experience. Our team bonded and played very well together! My
favorite part of the trip was getting to meet new people and making friends. My
team and I bonded so fast and now we are all best friends! We snap and text each
other so much!"

Greg Blythe (Georgia)

"Words really can’t describe how incredible the experience was overall. The
opening ceremonies left chills in me as it really hit home that we are here
representing our country. I had conversations and laughs with fellow coaches
which allowed us to develop lifelong friendships. We began to say through the
trip “something’s gotta give” since it continued to be too good to be true. I
still can’t believe I just experienced what I did as it far exceeded
expectations and felt like a 10-day dream. Thank you for the opportunity to
learn, grow, and serve with SAWUSA."

The sports experience was awesome. The trip to Argentina was amazing and the
teams know the game of basketball and play it at a really high level. From the

walk in not really knowing anyone and leave with memories and friends that last
a lifetime. Another great trip!!!

It was the best experience of my life. The trip was my favorite thing that I've
ever done. I loved meeting kids from all over the country and making new

experience for my son and I. We participated in the Spain/Portugal trip and it
was amazing. There were a few hiccups here and there but overall it was a
wonderfully planned trip with awesome excursions, great food, and just enough
basketball. I would highly it recommend to anyone considering this opportunity.
I'll be taking each of my other boys in the future.

Becky Harden, Mother of Skylar Treadwell (West Virginia)

"We met some great people and developed some friendships that I know will last
forever. We were blessed to have so a great group of girls that came together
like they have always known each other. We definitely recommend others to go on
one of the trips. Thank you for everything."

Gerryann Agovino, Mother of Law Agovino (California)

"It was absolutely the experience of a lifetime for Law. I do believe it was
worth the price. Our favorite part of the trip was the tournament and winning
the gold. We enjoyed the hotel in Austria, the evening BBQ at the lake, and the
uniforms were great! Our leader, Jody, was fabulous. She has the perfect
disposition to deal with a bunch of crazy parents and players. She managed
everything with ease, and always with a smile. She's fantastic - really. I can't
say enough great things about our coach, Jake. He really MADE the trip for us.
He is an amazing coach, and brought the team together in an unbelievable way -
in just two days of practice! He immediately established respect, and at the
same time inspired the kids to play hard and compete. He left the kids with a
strong message about the importance of being good men, husbands and fathers. We
feel very fortunate to have had him coach Law - he really had an impact. Again,
Jake was the absolute best, and really ensured a fabulous athletic experience.
We felt lucky!"

Heather Calvin, Mother of Chase and Coby Calvin (Washington)

"This trip was a fantastic experience and one that will definitely be
remembered! What an amazing opportunity for these young athletes to travel and
experience different cultures and compete at another level. Our tour guide Lukas
was amazing!  He had many demands to overcome and did so with a great attitude
and smile. It was amazing to see kids who had never met or played together come
together and form a team in such a short period of time. The best part was
getting to know all the other players and parents and meeting the locals and
feeling welcomed."

Paulette Brown (New York)

Everything went great! I had some complications with my back but nothing stopped
me from enjoying and having fun with everybody. The people there are very nice
and the teams and people are very friendly. I was very comfortable being there
it was an awesome event, especially for my daughter Bianca who did her thing on
the court and became great friends with her teammates. She has stayed in touch
with them too just like me with the mothers ❤️❤️??. Overall everything was great
and the price was really worth it, I will never forget our experiences in
Argentina, it was great, I loved it. Now trying to save money for next year!

Kristie Harkins Kinard, Mother of Hanna Kinard (South Carolina)

"She has had the best time! Made life long friends, they have already planned a
reunion! Hanna said they have a sisterhood. Something about playing a sport and
bonding with your teammates makes it all that more special!"

Brad Hunter, Father of Jack Hunter (North Carolina)

"SAWUSA puts together a great tour. My son made a lot of great new friends and
is already wanting to go back. For the $, there's no way I could have planned
this trip that nice myself for that price. I think the price was worth it. The
cities we visited were very cool. The hotel in Klangenfurt was perfect for a
long stay. Karen, our tour guide, and ADIS, our driver, were great as well. I
highly recommend this group and tour! "

Sabrina Clark, Mother of Will Clark (Maryland)

"We had a great time in Barbados. Truly a wonderful, rich, and life-changing
experience for both of us (certainly for me). I believe that this trip prepared
Will for his new college experience. We spent an absolutely superb day on the
Catamaran Cruise. Lunch on the ocean and the highlight...swimming with the
turtles. Just amazing! Thank you Barbados for your wonderful hospitality and the
opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful places on earth. And to
STUDENTathleteWorld - congratulations! Job well done. These two coaches were a
great pairing for this trip. Their personalities complemented each other, and
they had two very different ways of dealing with the boys - which was very
effective. The bitter part was saying goodbye to those boys. They all became my
sons and it felt like I was sending them off on another very long trip. If asked
what the best part of this vacation was for me, I'd say it was watching my son
do something he loves in a very different environment, taking a chance to build
new relationships (which are unbelievably strong after this trip), and to see
his true gifts and talents reveal themselves so completely. The lesson in all of
this - growth comes in discomfort. Your truth is displayed in situations that
you cannot control, and when you can be happy with what you see when it does;
that's a beautiful thing! Thinking about Will going off to college in a few
short weeks, this was wonderful to see. We will continue to share our adventures
with anyone you would like to learn more about our experience and the value in
being part of such a great trip."

Sonia Cagle, Mother of Troy Cagle (Georgia)

"Everything was amazing. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. Thank you
for all SaW did to make our trip memorable and of course coaching the boys well
enough for them to win silver."

Mackenzie Rask (Montana)

"Easy to say this was the trip of a lifetime. I’d go back in a heartbeat. I met
some of the most amazing people that I’ll never forget. Had the most amazing
teammates that became some of my best friends. I’ll definitely miss getting to
spend time with all of the people I had the chance to meet along the way.
Getting to experience everything we did in Europe and everything that we got to
see along the way, as long as playing basketball, was something that many don’t
get the chance to do."

Jen Winters, Mother of PJ Winters (Maryland)

"We actually are very surprised that the cost of the entire experience wasn't
more. We really couldn't have toured Germany, Austria, or Italy for the amount
of money you required. I am certain it would have at least been double. The
sightseeing was amazing and more than we could've ever hoped for. We loved the
entire experience. I cannot stress enough how amazing this experience has been.
Watching the boys play different teams and form friendships with each other as
well as the other teams. The uniforms were incredible. I think all of the SaWUSA
teams looked amazing. We are beyond appreciative of the experience our son had
at the United World Games in Klagenfurt, Austria. From beginning to the end, my
son could not have had a better experience with his coach. They were top notch
as well as great mentors to the teams. We look forward to traveling with you
next year. PJ couldn't have been a part of a better program. We'll be back next
year! Thank you for having us. We had an amazing time."

Joanne Schulz, Mother of Hogan Schulz (Wisconsin)

"We had a great trip the people made all the difference! Hogan is extremely
happy he was part of the team and the experience!"

Christi Jackson, Mother of Paul Jackson (Maryland)

"This has been a wonderful experience for Paul and we are grateful to God and
you for making it all possible! Coach Drew did a great job coaching the
boys! Paul had a great time!! He thoroughly enjoyed every day! Paul traded his
jersey with a young boy from the Netherlands. As you can see from the picture
his new jersey doesn't fit so well 🙂 Thank you for allowing Paul to make this
trip with you. I know he will never forget it!"

Brenda Petrillo, Mother of Miranda Petrillo (Florida)

"Overall the trip was a great experience and well organized. The coaches were
great. Coach Rogers kept us well informed and was attentive to our well being
and safety. The best part was SAWUSA winning the Lisboa Lacrosse Cup!"

Erik Crittenden (Illinois)

"Thank you so much! I had a great time, it was such an awesome experience!"

Rafael Delgado (Florida)

"The experience was a lifetime memory. I honestly loved my teammates the most. I
know it's a little weird, it's just astonishing to me the brotherhood that was
created with strangers in such a short period of time. The price was definitely
worth it. I'll never forget this experience. I encourage and recommend my
friends in Florida to look into it. I loved the fact to get the chance to play
basketball with teams from other countries and make new friends."

Pam Williams, Mother of Jordan Williams (Illinois)

"My son participated in the Italy tour in 2016 and the Barbados tour in 2017. He
is learning so much and having fun as well."

TJ Morrison (North Carolina)

It was an honor to represent the United States and coach with SaW. We had a
great trip to Germany, Italy, and Austria. I hope to get the opportunity again
and let my son go as well.

Amari Martin (Tennessee)

"The trip was perfect and planned out well for it to be a large group. The
experiences were thought out and exciting for someone who's never been to
Europe. The UWG events were fun and entertaining. I enjoyed the players party
and farewell bbq. The tour guides were so helpful and it made our time in the
different locations go smooth. The best part was experiencing the different
cultures and seeing the world. The price was worth the trip. Yes this a trip I
will never forget."

Jana Hatcher, Mother of Zac Moore (Arizona)

"Thanks for leading these amazing young men and women. You all did a fantastic
job. Appreciate you all!”

Tony Scellato, Father of Dominick Scellato (Indiana)

"I felt the trip overall was very well planned/organized and the experience both
athletically and culturally was great. The leaders did a good job communicating
and connecting with the kids and parents. The extra excursions were a great
addition to the trip as well. I would say the overall trip was a wonderful
experience and one I would recommend to others for sure. I loved watching the
guys play ball. I think the price was worth it just because of all the things
that were packed into the trip. I wish I would have had this kind of opportunity
when I was younger. For Dominick to be able to look back and say I got to travel
overseas, play a game I love and represent my country doing it, is a pretty cool
thing."

Janine Wilburn, Mother of Christian Wilburn (California)

“Thank you for delivering on your intention; this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime
experience! It was all we had hoped for and more. Definitely an experience we
will always hold dear in our hearts. I also want to thank you for doing such an
amazing job and promoting an unselfish team environment. I was impressed by the
way you handled this immense group, cultural differences and competing agendas
and opinions with poise and grace. As a participant on the trip, I was inspired
as I watched the young men grow and develop as players, teammates and as
citizens of the world. To hear them reflect about now spending more time
preparing for the intellectual and cultural parts of the trip showed how much
they had grown in just 10 days. As a parent, I was touched daily as I had the
honor of watching my son represent his country. I have no words to describe; I
will never forget.”

Thaddeus Gonzales (Texas)

"I enjoyed the trip immensely. Thank you for giving me the opportunity."

Darlene Upshaw (Texas)

The trip was so awesome! I was able to experience this with my daughter as a
trip of a lifetime! We would have not experienced these great places, different
cultures, food, shopping, and visited historical sites, if not for playing
basketball with SaWUSA. My daughter was able to play with other athletes that
spoke the same language - basketball! Coach Lori was an absolute inspirational
Coach! Her ability to talk and mentor the athletes during challenging games and
articulate life lessons was priceless. Coaches and staff were accessible to the
athletes, professional, and fun to spend our days with, and always available to
answer questions. Jody, our tour GODDESS, did an amazing job with handling
almost anything that arose! Shout out to Tim who worked tirelessly to make sure
we had an amazing experience. One of my favorite parts of our stay in Portugal
was a tour we took of the former Monarch Palace of the King and Queen. We are in
contact with the friends, who feel like family, since returning. We plan on
traveling with SaWUSA again in 2023! This was amazing, we had a great
experience!

When we first heard about the opportunity we were nervous about traveling during
COVID but Tim has a team of professionals that has walked us through the process
every step of the way. SaWUSA is a professional organization that strives to
give upcoming athletes an opportunity of a lifetime to play other athletes from
other countries. We are proud to be a part of SaWUSA and represent athletes from
the great state of Texas!

Thomas Edwards (Virginia)

"Loved everything about the trip!"

Josh and Heather Conn, Parents of Stewart Conn (Alaska)

"We are so thankful for the experience you were able to provide our son. This
will be a lifetime of memories and excitement!”

Lesley Thomas, Mother of Clayton and Luke Thomas (Ohio)

This trip was so amazing and the most wonderful experience we have ever endured!
The SaW staff and coaches were so awesome and our delegation manager Lukas was
incredible and went above and beyond to make this a very memorable trip! Your
staff was so helpful in helping us prepare and also taking care of our sons food
allergy concerns before and during the trip! We loved everywhere we visited! The
best part was meeting people from all over the world and competing with the game
of basketball! We loved getting to know different cultures, our coaches and
other families! So blessed! Thank you SaW!

Erin Schroeder, Mother of Charles and Chase Schroeder (Nebraska)

“It was an all encompassing experience. Certainly a top 3 for our family
experiences!! Exceptional!“

Delbert Redfield (Michigan)

countries and experience what it's like there. Also, we got to see how other
countries played basketball and it was an honor to play against them while
representing USA. The hotels we stayed at were really nice"

Kevin Weltlin, Father of Scott Weltlin (Florida)

"We really enjoyed our experience and we will have a lifetime of great memories.
The people associated with SAWUSA were all fantastic. Making it to the
championship game and almost (we should have) winning it!! Seeing the boys play
against some very good competition. Winning a buzzer beater to make it to the
finals - all were my highlights. However, Munich was a blast! Austria was
beautiful."

Josh Mercado (California)

"Thanks, it was a lot of fun and an experience I will never forget. I hope I can
go again next year."

William and Michael Barton, Parents of Austin Barton (Missouri)

"Truly an experience of a lifetime! Greatest trip! Competition against other
countries, the sites and sounds of Europe. Great lifelong friendships made!
Amazing! The best part was the basketball and the immediate connection of the
U19 West players and parents. New friends!! We loved Coach Combs and the
uniforms. Basketball brought us together SaWUSA made us family. Forever. It was
amazing to see all the athletes and especially mine carrying the American flag!
It was an amazing experience I wouldn't trade for anything. It is such an
amazing time! If you have the chance, GO!"

Ted Barney, Father of Evan Barney (Kansas)

"My son Evan Barney and I went to Austria a few years back and we still talk
about that trip. The relationships he made as well as the parents and coaches I
meet we will never forget. Nothing will compare to that trip."

Kelly Scialampo (South Carolina)

My son Joseph will be going on a trip with SAWUSA this upcoming summer 2021. We
were suppose to go 2020 however the pandemic stopped that from happening. SAWUSA
was there for us through it all. They worked to get us all rebooked and set for
the following summer and it allowed us a seemless transition during a very bad
time. I would recommend them for your Son or Daughter they are a FANTSTIC
Organization.

Abby Wimmer (Wisconsin)

"Thanks to this trip I not only get to say I've been overseas but I also get to
say I played Softball overseas and met a lot of friends from all over the
place."

Deanna Snavely, Mother of Kyle Snavely (Arkansas)

"Kyle enjoyed the trip so much and hasn't stopped talking about it!"

Tanner Huck (Kansas)

The application and interview process was very professional and conducted very
well. Communication has been great, and I was very excited to be an ambassador
for the United States.

Gabriel Whiteman (New York)

"This was the most amazing trip I have ever been on. Thank you for giving me
such a great experience. The whole trip was amazing. The places we went were
awesome. Everywhere we went was full of history. Meeting kids from other
countries was so cool. The staff was great. They were very helpful. Coach Larson
was great and the uniforms were really cool. My favorite part was seeing all the
sights and meeting the different athletes."

Skylar Treadwell (West Virginia)

"The trip was amazing! The United World Games provided me with the opportunity
to connect with International athletes and develop friendships that will last a
lifetime. The pride I felt representing the USA, my state and school was
unmatchable. My favorite part of the trip was walking out onto the field
representing the USA in the opening ceremony, winning the Gold medal and
developing friendships with all the people on my team and other nations. I
always felt safe and secure in all our locations. I enjoyed the cultural
experiences and found them to be meaningful. The sightseeing was beautiful and I
enjoyed all the places we visited. Our tour guide, leaders, managers and coaches
were amazing. They gave us the experience of a lifetime and always had us
prepared for our next adventure. The friendships and experience I got to be a
part of was absolutely one of the best experiences of my lifetime and I would
love to do it again."

Jennifer Green (Maryland)

SAW took care of everything - travel, food, room and board, and entrainment -
which made the whole process easy and convenient. The price tag was steep but
definitely worth it and it was a great experience! They kept in constant
communication throughout the whole process. The coaches were great and ensured
everyone was safe. The tours were great and the guide was with us every step of
the way and ensured we were on schedule and made it to and back from all
destinations. I loved how everything was handled for us, the tours, the meals,
and some free time to explore on our own. That was very convenient and gave us
the opportunity to experience the food and embrace the culture. I would highly
recommend traveling with SAW and would definitely do another tour! It was a
great experience. My son embraced the culture and wants to travel more. It was a
great experience.

Tate Krankoskie (Pennsylvania)

"All aspects were amazing! Thanks for the opportunity."

Jaelyn Carpenter (California)

"It was a wonderful experience for both of us. The staff was super nice. Thank
you for the opportunity to go :)"

Leena Albelo (California)

We had a very memorable and fabulous time!! I was part of the 2016 SaW
Volleyball Team competed in the United World Games Summer of 2016. The team made
up of players from all over the US and Canada. We are still friends and we keep
in touch in social media. We played against many European teams and the level of
competition was high. The trip was one of the best. It was fun, educational, and
organized. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants something
outside of high school and club experience in the US.

Anson Tinney, Father of Worthy Tinney (Pennsylvania)

"On behalf of my family I want to thank you for the great time we had in Spain.
Worthy had wonderful time also. He can't stop talking about it."

Jeanne Paul, Mother of Gabriel Paul (Washington)

"Thanks! Gabriel had a blast and said it was the best week of his life so far!!
He really wants to go on another trip now!"

Izzy Hensley (Ohio)

"This was the most amazing trip of my life. An incredible once in a lifetime
experience. I got to experience Europe for the first time and I met amazing and
really great people from all over the United States and the world and created
lasting relationships all in a matter of days!! Lastly I got to play the sport I
love and bring home a medal for the USA. We had amazing coaches and guides made
the experience even better! We were able to put in an offense in just two
practices and to win a bunch of games, coach did an amazing job! Beautiful views
and an amazing tour guide (Katharina)! The best part was the wonderful people I
met and got to experience this with."

Cassie Velasquez (Texas)

I am glad to say that I got experience to play across the world and play
European basketball and the educational experience. It was a wonderful journey,
I got to experience the different ways that basketball was being played and how
much different our basketball is compared to theirs it was a wonderful
experience, wonderful friendships were made. A trip that I will never forget.
But thanks once again it was an amazing experience!!!!!!!!

Madison Gibson (California)

"I was excited to be part of the SaWUSA team. Once I met the other girls
everything was great. We bonded as a team and came together on the field. I made
friends for a lifetime. Not everyone can say they have played overseas, but I
can! I loved everything and plan to do it again next year. THANKS!!!"

Stevie Miller, Father of Jeremiah Miller (Maryland)

"Best Experience EVER. AWESOME experience from the flight, hotel, tours, and
meeting new families was AWESOME. I continue to wish SaW nothing but the best.
If you need a spokesman, I'm here."

Dominique Bowens (New York)

"One of the best weeks in my life honestly. I'm glad you picked me! It was an
honor!"

Taylor Bufton, Sister of Luke Bufton (Wisconsin)

"Thank you SaWUSA for this amazing opportunity to grow and experience the world
and represent our wonderful country! This trip was for sure the trip of a
lifetime. The SaWUSA staff and coaches on the trip were so helpful and really
made the trip memorable and rewarding. The United World Games was an amazing
experience and a great opportunity to experience sports as it pertains to
different countries around the world. This trip was definitely worth the money.
This trip provided unique, one of a kind experiences that will not be soon
forgotten such as the United World Games and opening ceremony at Players Town in
Klagenfurt, the trip to the castle in Salzburg, and the gondola rides in Venice.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to meet and get to know so many wonderful
people from all over. Everything about this trip was amazing and unforgettable."

Terri Bollinger, Mother of Jessi Bollinger (Virginia)

"I had never considered traveling outside the country until Jessi got this
opportunity! Sharing those memories with her and meeting such wonderful people
on her team made it the experience of a lifetime! We know we were meant to meet
this particular group of people and have made friendships for life! The
basketball games were just icing on the cake! Austria and Venice were my
absolute favorites! The history, architecture and scenery were amazing! Kelsey
and Ruben were awesome and took great care of us and the kids. My daughter is
still in love with her uniform and her name under the American flag!"

Myia Hornsby, Mother of Antonio Hornsby (Texas)

"We had an absolute blast. The experience was memorable and what my son took
away from it all was an absolute appreciation of the world as a whole not just
the US. He is excited to travel more and go back to Europe again. We always felt
very safe and comfortable. The accommodations were wonderful. The competition,
coaches, uniforms, all of that was incredible. Everything was honestly great."

Tre’von Williams (Pennsylvania)

"I want to thank the staff of SaW, every trip with you all was amazing and a
dream come true. If it wasn’t for you guys selecting me and giving me the
opportunity to travel the world while playing basketball, I wouldn’t be able to
live the dreams I’ve had as a kid and I wouldn’t be at the stage of my life that
I am today. These trips taught me a lot in life. Everything was great from the
coaches to the bus drivers and sightseeing to the competition. I had a blast it
was a blessing to be apart of it once again! What I loved most about the trip
was meeting new people and coaches and bonding with everyone, it was worth the
price with all the sightseeing and different hotels and events we
attended. Everything was good nothing was bad that could’ve been done better!
Jody is great she helped me with a lot and I talk to her till this day. Thank
you to the SaW staff, once again this is a blessing!"

Frank Rogers (Florida)

What an amazing experience, would recommend it to anyone. SaWUSA and Tim and
crew do a great job of communicating, planning, and following up. All details
are taken care of and the things you get to do are so cool. Taking one of their
trips is an experience of a lifetime, you get to see a different part of the
world and really experience it, meet super people and represent your country! If
you have the opportunity to take one of their trips do not hesitate, you will
not regret it.

Everything was well organized and very enjoyable. Truly an experience of a
lifetime. The great things about this trip is that is has bundled so much into
it. There was a good diversity of culture, tours, and lacrosse.

The whole experience was amazing. If you have a chance to do one of these trips
do not think twice about it. They are well organized, the guides on the ground
have a great knowledge of the local area and things to do, and the hotels and
food are first-rate. One of the coolest things we did was zip lining from Spain
to Portugal. Having the opportunity to represent the USA tops it all off. We
brought back many fond memories, met many people, and made many new friends. Had
a great experience on the lacrosse field and doing many cultural events. SaWUSA,
Tim, and Jody leave nothing to chance, they communicate well and really care
about you. Thanks, SaWUSA for an amazing opportunity.

Robert Rice (Mississippi)

"It was great, I felt amazing. I loved everything. I was really blessed to go on
a trip such as good as this. You guys really know what you’re doing! Thanks for
everything, I loved the tour!!!🫵🏽‼️"

Brenda Lehman (Indiana)

Excellent trip. Our flight was canceled and luggage lost. SAWUSA staff quickly
worked to re book all of us! Our guides were amazing! Coach was such a great guy
and invested with the students! The best part was the teammates! It absolutely
was an experience of a lifetime!

Jadyn Harris (Texas)

"Coach Marvin and the team were great. I feel Coach and the experience made me a
better player. Great opportunity to get out of my comfort zone. The trip to
Saltzburg and lake were our favorites. The best part was the basketball
experience. It was worth the price. A great opportunity."

Holly Hubert, Mother of Peyton McDaniel (Pennsylvania)

"I have to tell you that the United World Games experience changed Peyton's
life. Hands-down the most positive experience she has ever had! It was the
experience of a lifetime! Those girls are like sisters now. We are excited to
head home tomorrow but sad to have to say goodbye to our SaWUSA family. We had
the pleasure of spending the last week with some of the most amazing coaches,
families, and STUDENTathletes around. This experience was unforgettable and we
are so blessed to have been a part of it! Thank you for all you do!"

Hunter Groat (Maryland)

The communication was awesome and very organized. I loved meeting new people and
exploring new places. Everything was very organized. I loved working w/ coach
Greg and my teammates were great. All the excursions were fun and I liked
getting to see more of the world. I plan to do another tour in 2023 to visit
Spain this time.

Tyler Wyles (Texas)

"I think the coaches and your directors were very kind and helpful. Experience
was awesome and eventful. Hotel in Austria was wonderful; hotel in Germany was
pretty nice. I was very comfortable, safe, and pleased with the trip to say the
least. The thing I loved most about the trip was the sights and the bonding of
new friends. It was most definitely the experience of a lifetime. The price was
worth it."

Shannon Martin, Mother of Gabriella Martin (Oklahoma)

"Thank you, we had a wonderful time. It's definitely something if any teen gets
an opportunity to do they really should!"

Dorothy Simmons (Maryland)

What I loved most about the trip is that I got to have this experience of a
lifetime with my daughter. I think the price was reasonable because it included
everything. Your staff was absolutely wonderful. Jody was personable, she was a
great communicator, she kept everything positive which I think help make the
minor changes easy for everyone. She was always visible and made everyone feel
like we were one group and she met the needs of everyone that she needed to
provide extra support to during the trip. If I knew she was going to be on my
trip I would definitely plan another trip (LOL). The SaWUSA staff, tour leaders,
delegation managers, and coaches all took care of everyone and really made us
feel safe comfortable. They really made the experience more joyful. Athletic
competition for the girls basketball was really good. My 16 year old would
definitely love to come back for another opportunity to compete on this level.
Coach Lori did a great job of pushing the girls and making them feel like they
were able to compete in this tournament. The sightseeing on the trip was
absolutely wonderful. I do feel like we got to experience the places that we
visited.

Prabh Mann (California)

"Thank you! I enjoyed it so much. It was definitely my best life experience. Our
whole group that year was amazing!"

Clareen McNabb, Mother of Raena McNabb (Canada)

"I would like to thank you both for the tremendous trip of a lifetime that Raena
just had at the World United Games with SaW!! She is home, exhausted, but she
has so many stories of what she did & where she went."

Gavin Gillikin (North Carolina)

"Everything was awesome with my trip. The best part was playing in the United
World Games. It was a complete trip of a lifetime!"

Jonathan Tshamala (Virginia)

It was a great experience to meet new people that may become lifelong friends
and feeling like a pro athlete in another country!

Taylor Ramos (California)

"I want to thank STUDENTathleteWorld for giving me this amazing opportunity. I
would of never imagined that I would have the chance to travel the world.
Because of this trip, I made so many amazing friends, that I can call my family.
This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am so blessed I was able to
experience it. Thank youSTUDENTathleteWorld for giving me the chance to explore
new cultures and meet people from across the country and the world."

Foster Clark (NY)

"The price was for sure worth it, and I liked that I got to meet some really
cool people from around the US. My favorite part of the trip other than the
basketball games, was when we went on the trucks and got to see the whole
island."

Jo Eason, Mother of Derek Eason (Nevada)

“Oh my goodness!  STUDENTathleteWorld is amazing! They are easy to work with and
always open to phone calls, texts, emails, etc. Your son/daughter isn’t just
another player to them. SaW is invested in them. SaW provided our son the
opportunity for personal growth, improved athleticism and life long friendships.
His basketball coach still reaches out to see how he is doing. He’s thousands of
miles away, with a life of his own, and is still coaching him in his sport and
in life. The opportunity to play against teams from different countries around
the world was an incredible experience, one he continues to talk about 8 months
later! He has talked non-stop about every aspect of the trip - from his coach,
to the games and the new friendships formed. A group of them are already
planning a reunion at the end of July! Touring other countries, experiencing new
cultures and histories was eye opening and left him with new perspectives. He
came home a changed young man, and for the better. The best part is that he
feels he grew as a person. He has a renewed energy for life and is even more
determined to go to college! I can't thank you and your organization enough for
providing him with the opportunity to participate.I would recommend this
opportunity to anyone who asks!“

Joyce Mitchell, Grandmother of Mitchell Glass (Illinois)

"This was a great way to see a new part of the world, experience great sporting
events, meet new friends, and watch our boys bring home a silver medal! What a
confidence builder for our athletes! I Loved watching the competition, had a
great time with the other parents and players, enjoyed the countryside, and
enjoyed the interactions of the athletes off the court. Coach Hutchings was
amazing, He put 10 young men together as a team in 2 days. Wonderful chemistry!
The concentration camp and salt mines were both interesting and moving. I would
recommend this trip to others! My grandson would like to go again to play with
his teammates another time!"

Chris Bozeman (Ohio)

"Thanks for the great opportunity. I really enjoyed myself on and off the
court."

Zac Moore (Arizona)

"The best experience of my life thus far hands down! I love the company and
loved the experiences you’ve graced me with through the multiple tours I’ve been
on with you guys! Thanks."

Alissa Jewell, Mother of Jeremy Jewell (Louisiana)
"I wanted to express our great fullness for this experience. It really showed
both of us the differences in basketball and culture. The games were amazing to
watch. The culture difference at times made me laugh. The boys really clicked
and didn't want to say bye due to the distance between them. They all had stated
they were closer than their friends at home. In closing I will say this has been
a life-changing experience filled with lifelong friends and a new perspective on
basketball. Again thank you SaWUSA."

Amanda Epstein (New York)

"Thank you! It was lots of fun and a great experience!!"

John O’Hara, Father of Kevin O’Hara (Pennslyvania)

“I would do it again in a heartbeat. My favorite part was watching my son get to
meet new friends and watching them go from the first day to the last day and
watching the connection they made. The Salt Mine and Venice were awesome trips.
I looked forward to those and thought they were great treats. All areas of the
tour felt very safe. The coaches and tour leaders and managers were great to
deal with. Thank you for a wonderful time.”

Rob Jackson, Father of Bobby Jackson (Maryland)

"The thing that I enjoyed most about the trip was the people. We started out as
strangers and ended up family. It was great to see my son make life long friends
as well as me. The price was well worth it and I think very economical for what
you got in return. The only negative thing I can say about the trip is that me
and my son wished it was longer. The hotels were great, food was good and you
usually had a variety of choices. Having traveled abroad multiple times, I must
say it was nice to have a guide and provided transportation. It made the
experience that much nicer because I didn't have to do anything logistically,
and we always had the opportunity to venture out on our own if we chose to. I
just want to let you know that your staff was great, and I would like to say
that Coach Jake was not only a great coach, but an awesome man. I really cares
about the kids. He truly treats the kids as his own. He was just great. He took
a group of kids and not only did they look like they played together for years
on the court, he was instrumental in having them gel off the court which was
great. He was not only a coach but mentor, and he let the guys know that he is
there for them for life, his mentorship doesn't end when everyone goes their
separate ways. Bobby was already thinking about next summer. He wants to go
again and so do I. You guys did a great job."

Selena Coomer, Mother of Jordan Johnson (Kentucky)

"It was a once in a life time trip for my son and I! It was worth every
penny. Coach Hutchings and Matthys were amazing. I loved every where we went."

Hannah LaBree (Montana)

"This is definitely an experience that I will remember for a lifetime. I learned
so much about basketball."

Chris Smith (Georgia)

The greatest part about the trip was getting to go to a new country and getting
to see all the cool towns and meeting all the new people. The price of the trip
was very worth it for what they do for you on the trip. This trip was definitely
a trip of a life time and getting to play the sport I love the most was even
better and I would definitely do this trip again. The coaching was amazing they
know what they are talking about and doing and were very helpful with
everything. Everything was very easy to do (in the sales process) and the people
where easy to get ahold of if you needed help and when you needed something sent
to you they did it right away.

Susan Thornton, Mother of Jacob Thornton (North Carolina)

The experience from start to finish was amazing and the trip of a lifetime for
us! The coaches did an amazing job with the athletes and with making a
connection with the parents. The tour guide Kathya was absolutely amazing!! She
made a unique connection with each one of our travelers and was always willing
to assist anyone we came in contact with. She went way above and beyond to make
this experience the best for each of us. The boat ride and tours of the city and
church was absolutely amazing!!! We loved being able to meet and discover new
friends not only from the USA but from various countries with many different
cultures and ways of doing things. There is no price on the friends that were
made, the memories we shared and the experience of a lifetime that we will never
forget!!!

Marie Maxwell, Mother of Brandon Maxwell (Pennsylvania)

"Brandon had a wonderful time traveling to Berlin with the lacrosse team through
SaW and talks often about his trip. It will be an experience he will always
treasure."

Diane Crum, Mother of Zane Crum (New Jersey)

"I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of my kid and his teammates. These
athletes and now friends had never played together. They pulled together, worked
hard, and places 3rd. Thank you for believing in Zane. What an opportunity of a
lifetime! A big thank you to Coach Ettinger. You all were awesome!"

Salena Mabins (Texas)

SAWUSA is excellent. They are very friendly, and professional and the
communication is great. This program pushed my son to be a part of his future
and helped guide him. This is a wonderful program.

Ron Yeo, Father of Parker Yeo (Illinois)

I can't think of anything that was not really good! The best was the Bernal
experience with the host team and touring the cities. The price was worth it.
Yes it was a trip of a lifetime."

Brady Lehman (Indiana)

This was a blast! Playing basketball and meeting new teammates who are now
friends! All the fun added in w/zip line and waterfalls made for the BEST week!!
Thanks

Lura Cummings, Mother of Lura Mackenzie Cummings (Tennesse)

"Wonderful 1st rate trip and SaW is very professional and great to work with.
It's a great trip! We loved every minute of it!"

Kia Chandler, Mother of Justin Chandler (Maryland)

"This was an amazing experience. My student athlete, Justin Chandler, said he
had a great time. All the boys on both teams and families all got along so well,
so good job in the selection process! Being with the other families was the best
part. The coaches for the Spain/Portugal Basketball were amazing and so were the
tour guides."

Liam Scott (California)

“I am so glad to have had this opportunity. The price was worth it and it was an
experience of a lifetime. I loved playing basketball the most of the because it
was exciting to play against international competition and a very cool
experience. All the tour leaders, delegation managers, and coaches were easy to
communicate with and took great care of us and I was very comfortable and safe.
The coaches had the biggest impact on my experience because they helped me
understand the game and life more.“

Kellie Atkinson (Georgia)

"My daughter, Darrianne, has played on 3 tours with SAWUSA. Each trip has been
amazing! The opportunity to play overseas has increased her confidence both
personally and within her game. The staff of SAWUSA has been extremely
professional at every level. The tours are educational, yet fun. By far, our
favorite experience is the interaction with other young women who love the game
as much as she does. The memories and friendships made will last a lifetime.
These experiences have already helped her in her college internship and I'm sure
they will be an impressive part of her resume for upcoming career opportunities.
If you are on the cusp of deciding if your daughter should go, please just say
yes! It is worth every single penny, and then some!"

Josiah Gallegos (Colorado)

"Thank you so much for everything ! It was one of the most amazing experiences
in my life and I appreciate all you guys did for us! Thank you for having me!"

Kaitlyn Stelk (Minnesota)

Everything was great! I love SaWUSA, they are so organized. They communicate
with their team and players very well. I have zero regrets. I had a lot of fun.
It was so worth it, the group was amazing and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Mariana Medrano (California)

"Thank you for the amazing experience. This trip was a lifetime memory for sure.
The coaches were all amazing even to the athletes that weren’t a part of their
team. I'm beyond grateful to have experienced this trip with some of the best
people I have met. I'm proud to say I participated in the 2019 United World
Games and brought home silver. What I loved most was playing with my teammates
and bonding like we were best friends throughout the whole trip."

Lynnmarie Hinerman, Mother of Austin Hinerman (Maryland)

"This is one of the most amazing things we have done as a family!  Watching our
son, Austin, play for his country and bring home a Sliver medal with his team
was awesome! Plus, the beauty of each country and meeting people is something we
will treasure! This was the experience of a lifetime and gave us all memories
that we will never forget!  Our son, Austin, said over and over again what an
honor and privilege this opportunity was to represent the USA in basketball and
the fact that his team won Silver. It was all so incredible from the beautiful
scenery of Austria and Germany, to meeting people around the world, the
excitement of the sports competition and then our boys getting to play for the
gold! Although we won Silver, it is still amazing!"

Marry Ann Shields, Grandma of Ana Nield (New Jersey)

"I’ve traveled with groups before and I am soooo impressed with the way Tim,
Jody and Hutch covered logistics and coaching. They took care of everything and
everyone. Great job! I loved the coaches, parents and athletes!!! Catamaran was
GREAT, jeep safari was good. The people made it all worthwhile."

Charles Garcia (California)

"The overall trip was a once in a lifetime experience for me. I would definitely
return to Barbados in the future. I loved the people and environment there. I
also enjoy spending time with my teammates and getting to know them and hear
their stories. My favorite part was being able to meet new players from around
the US and be able to form a team with them. It was definitely worth it."

Makenna Peterson (Washington)

I absolutely loved this trip for my son. I would recommend this to anyone who
wants to pursue sports and meet new people. My son loved it. He said the coaches
were awesome. I met one of the coaches and he very polite and respectful. I am
for sure hoping to send my son again next year. Thank you SaWUSA for giving my
son this opportunity. Also to Tim and Jody, thank you for all you have done to
make this memorable for my son. You guys are so much appreciated.

you did in preparation and during this trip. The communication, thoroughness,
and organization are just top notch! Barbados is truly beautiful, this is
another A+ experience from SaW. Thanks guys!!"

Michele Thibiant, Mother of Robert and Alex Thibiant (California)

"We're happy we had the opportunity to be a part of SaWUSA! Thank you again. You
and your team work tirelessly to make these trips possible. We appreciate all
you do! It was an excellent opportunity to play your favorite sport representing
SaWUSA while also meeting other players from all over the world. My favorite
part of the trip was definitely Austria from games to free time to food to the
people. The price was worth it and the food was good. I liked the consistent
role call supervision. The tour leadership was amazing and Jody was
outstanding."

Toya Terrebonne, Mother of Dayne Bordelon (Louisiana)

"The trip was an experience of a lifetime just as we were told. The price you
can not beat for what was included. My favorite part of the trip was to see my
son in a uniform representing the USA. To see him on the court, his heart
filled, no price can be put on that. The whole experience was extremely
organized, fun, full days, very safe and comfortable. The SaWUSA staff is
amazing. You’ve done a wonderful job coordinating this event. Jody is
passionate, very professional, and loves these teams. When I think of SaWUSA, I
see success. You have a great program. Thank you for this opportunity."

Keirstan Bozeat (New York)

"Best experience in the world! Met so many great people saw so many places and
made new friends all over the world! It was so amazing! My favorite part was the
the opening ceremony and Italy! The trip was amazing!"

Aaron Colwell, Father of Adam Colwell (New York)

"I think that SaWUSA is a wonderful program!!! My son, Adam, and I had a
fantastic time. Coach Tim, Coach Jody and Coach Hutch were definitely on top of
their game! They made sure that everyone felt comfortable and really went all
out to make sure everyone had a great time! We will definitely see you next
year!!!!! Thank you!!!!! What I loved the most was that everyone on the tour
came together and bonded so fantastically on and off the court!!!!! An
absolutely great experience!"

Karlicia Gilbert, Mother of Madison Gilbert (Georgia)

"I wish to emphasize that I have nothing but respect and admiration for your
organization and all the work that you do for American athletes. My daughter
will never forget this wonderful opportunity and experience. I look forward to
future experiences with you, and I have spread the word about SaW Tours with
other families!"

Tracy Frank, Mother of Trey Reese (Colorado)

The whole trip was phenomenal and we have memories to last a lifetime! We were
able to include a big part of our family on this trip and everyone was so
welcoming. The whole process was seamless. Any questions we had, we would email
and get an answer from Tim immediately. Communication was exceptional! We always
felt safe and the tour guides were very informative and helpful! The competition
was very good. You could tell they had played with each other for a long time
and our team played better and better after time together. It was great fun to
watch and see the excitement in the spectator and children's faces to see the
USA play and take their picture etc. I can't say enough about how grateful we
are for Jody and the tour group! I honestly can't think of anything to make it
better. Even when the bus broke down, Jody and the local tour group rep's
handled everything so professionally and they were calm and we just improvised
and had lunch while we waited and everything was so smooth! Everything was
perfect!!

Brittany Morris (Illinois)

"Thank you all so much for the amazing opportunity. My family and I had a really
good time! I met a lot of wonderful people and explored new things. It was an
opportunity of a lifetime and if I had the chance I would definitely do it all
over again. I encourage anyone who has the opportunity to go for it. You won't
regret it!"

Kevin Henning, Father of Coby and Chase Calvin (Washington)

"This was a great learning experience for the cultures history and of course the
basketball games we got to play in and watch as parents. Loved the trip. Your
staff was amazing and Lucas was a great host. The coaches were above board and
great with the kids. Played to win but played everyone. U14 Coach Darrin not
only coached but taught the U14 kids."

Mary Rounds (New York)

"I have to say the experience was one of the best I've ever had and it really
helped me express my love for softball."

Iyesa Reynolds, Mother of Imani Evans (Georgia)

It was a great experience and I would have made the trip again the following
year had my sister not have a destination wedding. The staff was totally
amazing, I wouldn’t have an issue sending my son with them if I couldn’t make
it. The experience wasn’t just about sport but so much more. We got to see and
experience so much. My son met other athletes for the first time; however it was
like they knew each other forever. All the parents got along well, seemed like
one big happy family. Very memorable experience.

Miriam Cobb, Mother of Rafael Delgado (Florida)

"I've got to give you a standing ovation for putting this company together. Your
staff, coaches and everyone involved with the United World Games 2018 did a
great job. Thank you for giving our son Rafael Delgado the opportunity to be

USA!"

Louann Brems, Mother of Alyssa Brems (Illinois)

Words cannot describe the pride Joseph M. Brems and I felt as we watched Alyssa
representing our country playing basketball in Barbados for STUDENTathleteWorld
/ SaWUSA. It was just the right amount of basketball, relaxation and adventure
to make it the perfect vacation! These girls played with heart and hustle to go
2-2 against teams that had played together for years! We met some great people
too! Great experience all around! 🙂

traveling overseas with my son to watch him play basketball. The coaches were
amazing. The athletic competition was incredible and the staff was great. The
sightseeing was amazing. Overall the experience for my son playing the sport he
loves was unforgettable and seeing the pure joy in his face was unlike any
feeling in this world. My favorite part besides watching my son play overseas at
the United World Game was Italy. Italy was beautiful."

John McBain (Japan)

"I would like to thank you! The trip was absolutely amazing, I was so blessed to
be apart of that and thankful of SaW and everything else that got me
there. Appreciate you and SAW so much! Without SaW, an amazing experience like
that couldn't have happened!"

Kristen Stuart, Mother of Emmi Stuart (Illinois)

"As my husband and I sit and watch the opening ceremonies for the Olympics, I
find myself reflecting on the opening ceremony of the United World Games 2016.
Thank you again, STUDENTathleteWorld for giving our family a chance to
experience such a life changing, memorable moment. For any athlete/parent
considering a trip, If there is a way for your athlete to go, let them! It was a
very educational experience. The best part for us was having our daughter
compete in a sport that she loves at an international level!! It was very
exciting. When you finally return home and your trip is in the rearview mirror,
you will remember this trip as the Trip-of-a-Lifetime. This moment/feeling will
never happen again. The friendships and family bond that you will form during
this time will carry on beyond your 'short' time together."

Troy Cagle (Georgia)

"I can honestly say I've never had an experience like this before, this win put
us in the championship which we ended up losing but it was also to the best team
in Germany and the best team I have ever played against. We still brought home
the Silver Medal. My squad this whole trip I wouldn't change for anything, The
best experience of my life hands down. Go SaWTeamUSA!"

Rubin Mann (California)

"You folks do an outstanding job. We appreciated how you used local guides. We
were VERY happy with this trip to United World Games and would love to do more
and we will. We have also recommended you to our friends and others."
