HF was established in the year of 2005 by a group of social workers, social development professionals. The organization is legally registered in Societies Registration Act 1860. Hamdam Foundation has been implementing humanitarian and development initiatives across the Sindh province of Pakistan. HF also involves in service delivery activities on the basis of community needs. The primary focus of HF is to provide a friendly environment to poor who are deprived and struggling to enjoy peaceful life with dignity. The organization has long-standing presence in the Sindh province. It has gathered ample experience of project management while working with national and international donor agencies i.e. IOM, Acted, USAID SGPAF, UNDP GEF,& UNICEF, Water Aid and RDF & Oxfam Novaib, BHS, NDS support Action Aid Pakistan -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ANNUAL REPORT 2021 WHERE WE WORK Hamdam foundation works in following districts of Sindh. Hyderabad Kashmor Dadu Sanghar Ghotki Thatta Badin Tharparker Jamshoro Mirpurkhas Umerkot Karachi OUR PRJOECTS No Project Description Location Partner Name Duration 1 Hamdam Foundations implemented two year project with Community Development Program CDP, Planning and Development Department, Sindh Government. The project provided training to 450 rural women in dress making and designing at TalukaSehwan of District Jamshoro. Sehwan District Jamshoro Community Development Program (CDP), P&D Government of Sindh One year from July 2017 to Jun 2018 2 Social and Economic Empowerment of Socially excluded and economically deprived indigenous Ghera Community through enhance trade skills Hyderabad AFGP-USAID 9 Months 3 Hamdam Foundation implemented one year project entitled "Mangroves Reforestation and Conservation" project supported by UNDP GEF Small Grants Program Pakistan. Project aimed to reforest mangroves, organizing local communities for the protection and enhancing participatory mangrove’s resource management in coastal areas of TalukaKharochan, District Thatta. Taulka Kharochan UNDP GEF Small Grants One Year From Dec 2017 to Nov, 2018 4 Improving Socio-Economic Status of Women from Urban Slums of Kandhkot. The project aimed ‘provision of training to rural women in the areas of craft, career counseling, marketing and life skills’ Kandhkot USAID SGPAF One Year 5 Enhancing Quality and Access to TVET for Employability - The project provided training to rural youth. The areas includes dress making, embroidery, career counselling and life skill development. Jamshoro RDF OXFAM NOVIAB Six month 6 Alternate livelihood training bonded labor project District TandoAlahyar ,mirpurkhas, Sindh Pakistan (skill enhancement). There were 200 women were benefited in the trainings. Women also attended the training of marketing linkages. Tando Allahyar & Mirpurkhas BHS Action Aid Six Month 7 The project ‘skill enhancement of poor women’ was implemented with NGO’s Development Society (NDS) and Action Aid Pakistan. The poor women were selected by NDS. The HF through Mashal Skill Development Center trained 100 women in dress making. The trainees were provided training certificates. Shahdadkot, District Qambar Shahdadkot NDS & Action Aid Six month 8 Hamdam Foundation implemented on year project entitled "Mangroves Reforestation and Conservation" project supported by UNDP GEF Small Grants Program Pakistan.
