SUPPORT OUR ARIZONA KIDS

Dreamers are Arizona kids. They go to our schools, worship in our churches, and
are valuable members of our community. Prop 308 will make our college tuition
system more fair by providing equal access to the same tuition for all Arizona
students who meet the requirements. Arizona students should be treated fairly
when it comes to paying for college!

Take Action!

DREAMERS ARE ARIZONA KIDS.

VOTE YES TO SUPPORT OUR ARIZONA STUDENTS!

> “Dreamers are 100% Arizona kids, they are our kids. They should be treated
> equally. Voters have an opportunity to ensure our Arizona students have the
> same chance at a college education as their classmates. Let's keep Arizona
> talent in our state! This November vote YES for our students, vote YES on Prop
> 308!”
>
> Senator Bob WorsleyABIC co-chair and former Republican Arizona State Senator

> “Business leaders want to tap the tremendous talent pool of the 'Dreamers.' We
> all win when we let them earn their way through college on the same basis as
> their peers. Our Arizona students are our future Arizona leaders. By
> supporting Prop. 308 they become self-sufficient, valuable, contributors to
> our economy and our state.”
>
> Heather CarterExecutive Vice President; former Arizona Republican State
> Senator

> “I'm the Republican mayor of one of the largest conservative cities in
> America. I think it's smart policy to get rid of this artificial obstacle that
> currently exists for dreamers who want to go to college. We don't want to stop
> Arizona kids who we've already educated in k-12 from going to college to
> become more productive and more self-sufficient. Prop 308 will help accomplish
> that goal.”
>
> John GilesMayor, Mesa, Arizona

> “In-state tuition is a state decision and Arizona voters have an opportunity
> to come together to ensure our Arizona students have the same chance at
> education. Supporting Prop. 308 will make Arizona Dreamers the same as their
> peers. These students are the future of our state and our economy. Please,
> vote YES on Prop 308!”
>
> Monica VillalobosCEO, Arizona Hispanic Chamber

> “Prop. 308 will help fortify our state's future economic growth by encouraging
> all of our talented students to build their careers here, and that begins with
> fair in-state college tuition rates.”
>
> John GrahamChairman and CEO, Sunbelt Holdings

> “This is a matter of fairness: all Arizona high school graduates should be
> charged the same tuition. Dreamers deserve the same opportunities as any other
> Arizona high school graduate. Arizona is their home. We must break this
> unnecessary barrier and allow Dreamers to continue their education and
> employment right here in their home state.”
>
> Regina RomeroMayor, Tucson, Arizona

> “It's time to start the reversal of very unfair state policy against
> immigrants, especially those who came as babies and children. Arizona is
> better than that! Dreamers are Arizonans. We have educated them in our schools
> since they were children. They have grown up with our grandchildren. It's time
> for Arizona to allow in-state tuition for Dreamers. I ask all Arizonans to
> support Dreamers by voting yes on Prop 308.”
>
> David AdameBoard Chairman Chicanos Por La Causa Action Fund

> “Arizona kids who want to go to college should be encouraged to do so. Right
> now we discourage dreamer kids from attending college by imposing higher
> tuition on them that most can't pay. This is not smart policy for our economy,
> and this isn't the right way to treat people. Please vote yes on Prop 308.”
>
> David LujanPresident & CEO, Children's Action Alliance

> “Dreamers are Arizonans, we have a moral responsibility to support all young
> people's educational dreams. Arizona voters have once in a life opportunity to
> transform students' lives through education and help build a future that
> benefits us all.”
>
> Luis AvilaFounder Instituto & Become Arizona Leadership Council Member

> “The Dreamers I know love our country just as much as I do. They attended
> Arizona public schools, worship at our churches, and some even served in the
> military as I did. They've lived most of their lives here, and if they
> graduate from our high schools, they should be eligible for the same in-state
> tuition as their classmates. Let's get this done.”
>
> Congressman Ruben GallegoLead sponsor of the Higher Education DREAM Act,
> Legislative District 7

> “I love the dreamers. I've met so many of them who embody who we want in this
> country, and they love being here, and aren't asking for any sort of handout.
> They just want to earn their way through college and make their way in life. I
> am confident that when Arizonans sit down and imagine what they would do if
> they were in the same shoes, they will find both the reason and compassion to
> vote for Prop 308.”
>
> Tyler MontagueBoard Chair Become Arizona

> “Stopping kids from going to college doesn't make sense. It's time for
> bipartisan policy solutions. Prop 308 will remove roadblocks for kids that
> want to go to college - keeping our talented young students here in Arizona!
> Now more than ever, we must work together across political lines to do good.
> This November, vote YES on Prop 308!”
>
> Carlos AlfaroArizona Director, American Business Immigration Coalition

> “I have come to personally know and love many good people who were brought to
> this country, and who have become a valuable part of our churches, schools,

>
> Mike HutchinsonExecutive Vice President, PHX East Valley Partnership

> “All children should receive a high-quality, equitable education, especially
> those who are furthest from opportunity and justice. These Arizona kids
> demonstrate exceptional talent, character, and opportunity for Arizona and
> this nation. We need to allow each one of them to fulfill their potential for
> the betterment of us all. Please vote Yes on Prop 308.”
>
> Rebecca GauExecutive Director, Stand for Children Arizona

> “All Arizona youth deserve access to educational opportunities to thrive.
> Prop. 308 will create a more equitable Arizona by granting Undocumented
> students access to in-state-tuition. We urge you to vote yes on Prop 308!”
>
> Carolina Silva, PhDExecutive Director, Scholarships A-Z

> “Every Arizona high school graduate deserves a fair shot. Dreamers graduating
> from Arizona high schools should be able to go to college using the same
> tuition rate as their peers. It’s only fair and it’s the right thing to do.
> Doing this will open the door for thousands of students to pursue a higher
> education, which could change the trajectory of their lives, strengthen our
> economy, and help our state to reach our Achieve60AZ attainment goal.”
>
> Rich NickelPresident and CEO, Education Forward Arizona

> “I have a combined 30 years of law enforcement and public safety experience
> and have served as your Maricopa County Sheriff for six years. As a supporter
> of DACA, I also support allowing DACA recipients to receive in-state tuition.
> These youth are already part of the American fabric, contributing to the
> greatness of our nation, and should have the same benefits as the friends,
> neighbors, and classmates they’ve grown up alongside. Ensuring DACA recipients

> them, but for our entire community. I ask for your support for these Arizona
> students.”
>
> Paul PenzoneSheriff, Maricopa County

> “Local First Arizona supports Prop 308 because educating Arizonans is good for
> Arizona's economy. Dreamers are children who grew up in Arizona, and they
> should be considered assets to our communities and our economy. Encouraging
> them to attend college is the best choice for the future of Arizona. These
> students should be able to attend our community colleges or universities at
> the same cost as other in-state students. They don't need a hand out, but they
> deserve a level playing field.”
>
> Kimber LanningCEO, Local First AZ

> “Prop 308 will improve our economy by building our workforce with skilled
> workers to fill vacant jobs and help local businesses. This is how Arizona
> will remain competitive nationally. Ensuring access to in-state tuition to all
> Arizona graduates is an important step toward meeting critical workforce needs
> and would greatly benefit the state’s economy. I ask for your support in
> voting YES on Prop 308.”
>
> Sintra HoffmanPresident and CEO, WESTMARC

> “Business leaders understand the importance of remaining competitive and
> keeping the tremendous talent of young Arizona Dreamers. We all win when we
> remove barriers for young people to learn, work hard, and succeed! Our Arizona
> students are the future Arizona business and will benefit our efforts to help

> “ALL In Education fully supports Prop 308. This ballot measure is imperative
> to the future of Arizona’s workforce, economy and overall success. As we
> continue to grow as a state, we must also keep up with the needs of our
> community - and one of these current needs is ensuring that we have a strong,
> prepared workforce ready to fill in-demand jobs. By providing Dreamers with
> access to in-state tuition to our public universities and community colleges,
> we are providing them with the opportunity to become professionals in our
> state that make significant contributions to our workforce and communities.”
>
> Stephanie ParraExecutive Director, All in Education

> “Helios supports Prop 308 as a statement about what Arizonans say Arizona
> wants to be—a community that embraces all our students and an economy that
> keeps our high school graduates in Arizona. Prop 308 is essential to meeting
> community-driven education progress goals. Plus, each college graduate adds
> $660,000, on average, to the Arizona economy. We can’t afford to lose these
> students or their contributions.”
>
> Paul LunaPresident and CEO, Helios Education Foundation

> “Prop 308 is one of the most important choices on the ballot this November. As

> courage them to continue their education right here in Arizona. For the

> all Arizona students.”
