RESILIENT WHEELS



Our resilient wheel has been optimized to resist wear and tear, improving Light
Rail Vehicle safety and the Total Life Cycle Cost. Consisting of basic
components such as a tyre, a wheel centre, a retaining ring and rubber
rings/blocks, it can withstand increasing axle loads and can also easily
accommodate the noise absorbing Syope® system.

EXPERTISE IN MAINTENANCE

VPI-EMG qualified workshop for wheelset repairs.
LBX is a maintenance shop for any type of wheelsets, including those equipped
with components like axle boxes, bearings or brake discs, as well as providing
resilient wheel overhauls.




STATE OF THE ART MACHINING LINE

With a plant surface of 10.000 m2 and two machining lines, LBX can produce up to
15,000 pieces per year.



The machining lines includes:

 * WHEEL, TYRE, AXLE AND CRANE WHEEL (GALET) PRODUCTION

 * AXLE GRINDING AND FINISHING

 * NDT FACILITIES FOR WHEELS AND AXLES
