ABOUT ELEMENTAL HEALTH

Is the information I share confidential?
Elemental Health is a confidential benefit. When you use Elemental Health, this
will not be revealed to your employer without your permission, except as
required by law and within PDPA guidelines. For more details on how Elemental
Health manages information about participants, please see our privacy policy.
How much does Elemental Health cost?
Signing up for a Elemental Health account is free. Once you sign up, you can
learn more about the coverage, eligibility, and costs offered by your employer.
What type of services does Elemental Health offer?
Elemental Health provides mental and emotional health care that is effective,
convenient, and personalized. We’ll match you to proven treatments and the right
care for your needs, whether that’s short-term care with our team of providers
or other resources available through your employer’s benefits plan such as
mental wellness content and workshop-training or work-life services.


HOW DOES IT WORK?

How do I get started?
First, create a free account. Then use our online platform or contact our centre
directly to tell us what you’re going through. We’ll share how we can help with
different care options and mental wellness tools that fit your needs and
preferences, and get you started right away.
What if there is an emergency?

For mental health emergencies, please contact your local A&E or community
institutions:

 * Local hospitals A&E department
 * IMH helpline: +65 6389 2222
 * Samaritans of Singapore (SOS): 1800 221 4444

What is the rescheduling / cancellation policy?
Elemental Health has a minimum 24-hour rescheduling / cancellation policy. We do
not accept rescheduling / cancellation requests or changes to your appointment
within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time to be fair to our providers
who have blocked out time for sessions. If payments have been made towards such
appointments, a refund shall be given to the sponsored organisation or member in
the form of credit note for the next session. There will be no refund for
no-show or changes made less then 24-hour. Prior to this 24-hour period, you may
reschedule or cancel your appointment via the platform or contact our center.


ABOUT ELEMENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS

How will I meet with my provider?
Depending on the provider and your preferences, you may meet in-person or over
video. If you meet over video, our providers are required to utilize secure and
regulation-compliant platforms to protect your privacy.
Does Elemental Health have providers who share my social/cultural identities?
Elemental Health has providers that self-identify across a broad range of
racial, gender, sexual orientation, and other cultural identities.
What is the difference between a Psychologist, Psychotherapist and Coach?

Psychologist and Psychotherapist (Counsellor) provide counselling and specialise
in a wide range of psychotherapeutic approaches for treating issues. The
difference is in the education and training. Psychologists are trained in
Clinical Psychology and perform academic research, while Psychotherapists
(Counsellors) are trained in various Counselling interventions and are also
qualified to work with a wide range of issues. As for Coaches, they work on
current issues and help you set and achieve goals for personal growth to become
more fulfilled and vibrant. You may choose by viewing the profile of the
provider, or you may contact us so that we can help to match you to the most
suitable provider that fits your needs.

Does Elemental Health have providers that specialize in my specific needs?
Elemental Health has providers with a broad range of clinical expertise and
specializations, including racial stress and trauma, PTSD, and the needs of
members from historically underrepresented communities.
