MISSION OBJECTIVES

 1. To provide championship-caliber services to our student-athletes in their
    career pursuits.
 2. To position UCF Athletics to win conference and national championships. 
 3. To successfully transition UCF Athletics into the Big 12 Conference. 
 4. To increase the UCF Athletics operating budget to be in the top half upon
    entry into the Big 12, then target top third.
 5. To deliver unique, indigenous athletics facilities for all student-athletes
    and fans, starting with the UCF Football Campus.  
 6. To maximize self-generated revenue through ticket sales/premium seating,
    ChargeOn Fund support, corporate partnerships, licensing and other avenues.

THE TARGET

People + Resources = Championships. As UCF Athletics makes the jump to join a
Power 5 conference we intend to attract and attain top talent while enhancing
our operating budget and facilities. We face the reality that our current
operating budget must grow as we transition into Big 12 competition.

READY FOR LAUNCH

To achieve our mission it is imperative to rely on more than just an increase in
Big 12 conference distributions. Below are operating budgets of schools with
recent conference transition as a result of increased investment from
supporters.

This challenge is not new to UCF. Knight Nation has stepped up before, providing
support as UCF transitioned from Conference USA to the American Athletic
Conference in 2013, laying the foundation for where we are today.

THE WAY

What are the financial resources needed to win Big 12 and National
Championships? 

 * To put our total operating budget in the top half of the Big 12 in
   funding: +$18 million per year ($90 million over five years) 
 * To put our total operating budget in the top three of the Big 12 in funding:
   +$21.6 million per year ($107.8 million over five years) 
 * To lead the Big 12 in total operating budget: +$33.8 million per year ($169.2
   million over five years) 

How are we going to bridge the gap to put our operating budget in the top half
of the Big 12? 

Assumptions: 

 * Institutional support remains the same.
 * New conference distribution will increase and be divided between operating
   capital, conference-to-conference transition costs and capital
   projects/facility enhancements.
 * Self-generated revenues must increase in order to reach our target.

We thank Knight Nation for their support of UCF football which has led to
sellouts of football season tickets and record-setting attendance. With football
ticket sales figures being close to maximized, fundraising and corporate
sponsorships are paramount to revenue growth opportunities for UCF Athletics.

the past support of our ChargeOn Fund and Shareholder Society donors. In

In the new Big 12 Conference, UCF will have the largest living alumni base. The
youth, energy and passion of UCF alumni makes our growth potential limitless,
coming from near the bottom of the Big 12 in donors and annual dollars raised.

Charitable investment in UCF from our alumni, family and friends sets the stage
for UCF to compete for Big 12 and National Championships. Every gift, regardless
of the amount, shapes UCF as the future of college athletics.  

ChargeOn Fund

   $50, $100, $200)

 * Varsity Knights 
 * Shareholders Society 

It is going to take the entire UCF community of fans, friends and donors to
become the next star in college athletics. Everything helps: young alumni giving
for the first time, long-time donors going to the next level, or stepping up to

MISSION CRITICAL PROJECTS

UCF Athletics has invested $35 million in facility upgrades/improvements since
2016 that have changed the way UCF recruits future Knights, develops
student-athletes, and generates revenue. Continued investment in all sports in
the Kenneth G. Dixon Athletics Village are essential to our continued success.
Our immediate mission, the UCF Football Campus, will solidify the foundation for
The Future of College Sports once approval and funding is secured.

College football’s top programs reap the benefits of their impressive
facilities. In 2021, 247 Sports ranked college football’s 25 best facilities.
Included in the top 25 were: 

 * 4 – Current Big 12 schools (Texas Tech, TCU, Oklahoma and Texas) 
 * 30 of 32 all-time College Football Playoff appearances
 * 30 of 37- Power 5 Conference Championships since the start of the CFP 

"UCF is Creating the Future of College Sports." That UCF mindset now comes with
a vision and action plan for the future of the Knights' football campus that
will benefit all student-athletes, coaches and fans.
