Knob Hill Day Nursery is a non-profit licensed childcare center located in Knob
Hill United Church and is run by a volunteer Board of Directors. The center is
licensed for 49 spaces and is regulated by the Ministry of Education. Our
programs include Infant (0-18 months), Toddlers (18-30 months), and preschool (2
½ years – 4 years).

OUR APPROACH



Knob Hill Day Nursery strives to provide a safe, warm and happy environment to
support children's growth and development. The center follows a play based
learning program that is centered on children’s interests and developmental
needs. Working with families and the community as a whole is an important part
of our program. Families’ input and ideas are welcome and encouraged to promote
home-to-school continuity.

 

We collaborate with the community around us such as: Bendale Library, Knob Hill
Public School, community colleges (hosting student placements) and make use of
local parks and flower shops as well as inviting community workers (fire
fighters, police officers, dental hygienist, dance company, etc.)

“This is the 3rd daycare for both my kids (Infant and preschool) and they just
love it. The supervisor is a professional and respected lady. she's always calm,
flexible, and outstanding. I love the staff and the way they treat kids with
care and respect. They have an app that allows you to follow your kids daily
routine and keeps you up to date with everything they do. They post pictures and
videos of your kids viewed for you only. I can tell my kids are happy and
comfortable there unlike other daycares. I really recommend this place! Hands
up... they are the best. "
