$$

Australian men are paying as little as $19 to Filipino facilitators, who then
force children in their care to perform sex acts in front of a webcam.

IS IT REALLY HAPPENING ON OUR SCREENS?

Ordinary Australians are fuelling the fastest growing major crime: livestreamed
child sex abuse.

18%

Almost 1 in 5 offenders in IJM's cases in the Philippines were Australian.

$2M+

Although Australians are paying as little as $19 for ordered child abuse, the
total funds transferred to the Philippines add up. It's a lucrative criminal
enterprise.

85M+

Millions of child abuse photos and videos on the internet.

REAL CHILDREN: MEET MAARKO

REAL CHILDREN:
MEET MAARKO

Instead of playing outside with the other kids in their neighbourhood, Maarko
and his 2-year-old sister Gabi were forced to perform sex acts in front of a
webcam. Maarko would imagine he was Superman, protecting his sister from the
baddies on the other side of the camera lens. But he wasn't strong enough to
whisk Gabi away to safety.
