 * What's the difference between Obamacare, ACA, On Exchange and Off Exchange?
   Obamacare and ACA; Affordable Care Act, are two terms for the same thing.
   They are used interchangeably and are considered On Exchange policies. These
   policies can be purchased directly from the federal government or by qualifed
   health insurance brokers, like Covered Hermosa Beach. They offer lower
   premiums through government subsidies for customers meeting income
   requirements. 
   
   
   Off Exchange plans are offered by health insurance companies and are
   available through insurance brokers. These plans also offer most if not all
   the essential health benefits as their on-exchange counterparts and are
   usually are a mirror of their on-exchange plans. The names of the plans are
   often the same as well and are available to those who do not meet the
   requirements for govern ment subsidies.
