Minecraft The Story of Mojang, the first feature-length documentary by 2 Player
Productions, "just three guys who are trying to make it money doing what they
love", according the Pirate Bay listing.

"We wanted to come here first because we knew the movie would end up here in the
end and the best thing to do seemed to be to start an exchange," wrote the
company.

"Torrents and piratery are ways to live and it's unlikely to change anytime in
the near future."

The trio urge those who enjoy their movie to purchase a DRM-free digital copy
for US$8(AU$7.69) or a DVD for US$20 (AU$19.23).

"Maybe you don't have the money. Perhaps you'd like to test before buying. Maybe
you are furious at us for launching the film via Xbox Live. These are all great
reasons," 2 Player wrote.

"But if you feel that the issue of piracy is, as in the words of Gabe Newell "a
service issue," please consider that we are selling DRM free digital downloads
that you can watch in whatever manner you please."

"The reason we Kickstarted the movie was because we didn't have enough cash to
make it ourselves. Even so, we still invested an enormous amount of our own
money in it. Not to mention nearly two years of work."

According to the official website, Minecraft: The Story of Mojang follows
Minecraft through its first year of existence as it grows its profile and enters
the homes of millions of gamers.

It also includes interviews with industry legends like Tim Schafer, Peter
Molyneux and Tycho from Penny Arcade.
