Workers from Ford, General Motors and Stellantis ratified new contracts with
hefty wage hikes, their union announced, closing the books on the historic
autoworkers strike at the three Detroit giants.
 

 * Ford Rival Hyundai to Raise Wages After UAW Strike

Workers at the existing Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama plant and the future
EV-dedicated Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America in Georgia will benefit from
this new wage structure, which is set to take effect in January 2024 and result
in U.S. production team member hourly wages increasing by a total of 25% by
2028.
 

 * The massive UAW strike against Detroit's Big Three was a wake-up call for
   foreign automakers

The wave of strikes against Ford, General Motors and Stellantis has had a
positive ripple effect on wages across the US auto industry. Nissan and several
other non-union automakers – largely foreign and mostly Japanese – have
announced U.S. pay raises to stay competitive and keep workers content.

FUEL STATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SHOPS



Fleet drivers should use our Supplier Locator to find fuel stations and repair
shops in their area. In the event of natural disasters and other unforeseen
circumstances, fuel stations and maintenance shops may close or adjust their
hours. Check the last updated information under details. Those with updates over
24 hours old are likely not viable options.
