All four stick insects I purchased four or five months ago are doing well! One
turned out to be male, though in my experience they mature more quickly; he is
done molting and probably won't live long enough to mate with the ladies, who
seem to have a couple molts to go before maturity. Very...All four stick insects

We rear house flies, among other things, in our insectary and use these cages
for the task. We upgraded to these from ancient old BioQuip (rip) cages that
were in disrepair and were too costly to maintain anymore. These clean really
well in our deep sink with minimal need for aggressive...We rear house flies,

and were too costly to maintain anymore. These clean really well in our deep
sink with minimal need for aggressive scrubbing. Under near constant use and
weekly washing and disinfecting cycles these have lasted at least 6 months which
for the price point and not having to physically maintain these makes them a
good buy for us. Having the tube sock portal is key to being able to
feed/water/extract the flies, it could be just a little larger in diameter
though as a 32oz delicup is a tight fit in and out but not a show stopper. The
zipper is nice for initial cage set up but you wouldn't dare open it with a few
hundred flies in it.
